OMG! I’m so thankful for this video. I just opened up my CPT book and I felt overwhelmed. Just listening to your video made me feel like I can breathe now.
You are AWSOME !!!! Love the way you exaplian and show how to go through these super confusing books of medical coding and billing and makes it easy for people like me to understand.... GOD BLESS YOU.
You were used through my online school UMA and I am finished now and glad I found you because you were helpful in my studies for school and I know you would helpful for preparing for the CPC exam. Thanks, Danielle
Thank you, I'm taking a class and is very hard, the teacher does not do videos, everything is written and i don't understand anything with her. I saw this video and it makes a lot more sense.
Hi I really appreciate this introduction. Looking forward to going all the way. I've used your videos in previous studying it has helped me out alot. I've even noticed that it has helped out in the CPC exam. Again thank you and God Bless you
Truly missed you and so happy to have you back. 😊. Your videos are of such great help and you explain each section so thoroughly. Please don't leave us again lol or Atleast for so long.. As we really look forward to your videos and appreciate all that you do!
Hi my name is Ruby from Philippines, going to take the CCS exam on July 2020 Please make more videos in preparation for the exam. Id love to know more in coding and passing the exam is the first step for this career and coding isnt just literally coding its a continuous learning in the field of healthcare professions and thats what I'm into as a part of my self growth at this stage of my life right now. Thank you and more power to your channel.
Thank goodness I have found you! I am currently enrolled in the AAPC on line course for CPC Certification, and even though it is very comprehensive, I find that without actual visual instruction, I get a little frustrated with myself, thinking I am not learning enough. I now have more confidence that as I view and participate in your tutorials, I am going to be just fine. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such a wonderful way for us beginners.
Great start!!! Just what I was looking for. The explanation was very clear. I even took some notes that will help me along the way. Thank you 😊 Look forward to watch more of your lectures/teachings.
Missokieoks coding class Thank you for your excellent videos thank you for you you are a Gifted excellent teacher I have been learning this out of curiosity now I need to see how I can get the books.god bless you
I see some coders place their tabs along the right edge like I was taught but others mention using them along the bottom. Anything wrong with running them along the top AND right side. I feel the bottom ones would become stressed and damaged.
yes you can but please note there are code changes from year to year..... if you use a year old manual on the Board, you will not have all the codes in the manual that you will be tested on.
Cindy Gomez My name is Lisa. Missokieok comes from my email. I am from Oklahoma and years back we moved from Oklahoma and I missed it horribly so my email was missokie After I adjusted I added the ‘ok’ So.... miss okie ( short for Oklahoma) is now ok..... lol. Corny, I know.
Hi! I am studying for my CPC exam and I’m so glad to have found this channel! Can you tell me where my remaining tabs (Pulm, Endorses, Ophth, Dialy, etc) belong?
You can use those extra tabs in the specific locations ie: Dialy would go in the medicine section where dialysis is.... Ophth would go in the medicine section where the eye E/M's are..... I just don't specifically tab to that level since it isn't something I routinely use.
This helped me so much! Thank you! I felt very overwhelmed just looking at the CPT manuel and you made it much less intimidating.
I am self studying for the CPC and am overjoyed to have found your video series! Thank you so much for making these, you are an angel!
Hi Rachel, how is the self studying going? I am really considering it. Any tips? TIA
Am also started my own preparation. .. do u know any full length tutorial videos
Your back! Hallelujah! You don't know it, but you were a life saver for me last year, and years prior!

She was great I’m a current student and she just made it appear as a cake walk! I was worried but now I’m a little more confident.

Thanks for making videos on cpt
Thanks for making this video...............Hyderabad india...
Can you make a video of showing where the tabs go? On each page?
I'm so glad you're back.
You are saving me! Thank you for this intro. Where exactly did you use the daily tab? Thank you.
it isn't "daily" it is dialysis..... I tab that area of the medicine section
where are the sub sections? what is subsection?
This video was amazing, but having the tabs in the shots would have been very helpful for when we need to refer to specific sections of the video
What a fantastic video/series! Will you be adding ICD10 videos for 2020 also?
I just posted 2 ICD-10 videos
@@missokieok wooo you rock!
I see some coders place their tabs along the right edge like I was taught but others mention using them along the bottom. Anything wrong with running them along the top AND right side. I feel the bottom ones would become stressed and damaged.
You can put the tabs in any position you want
What are the two green tabs that you have at the top of CPT book?
👀
I actually finished this video! I never do that
You have so many videos! What order should I watch them in?
I would watch the CPT first, beginning with how the CPT flows, then go to either HCPCS or ICD
hey. just a q. can I use 2019 version for 2020 exam?
yes you can but please note there are code changes from year to year..... if you use a year old manual on the Board, you will not have all the codes in the manual that you will be tested on.
Which book/s do we bring to the test?
CPT, ICD-10-CM and HCPCS
Thank you for this video!!!
Hie. Do you have pdf of this book?
Yeah, I'd like that. I could use the 'FIND' function to locate the pertinent item.
where can i get PDF version of CPT 2020 for exam preparation
if there is a digital option to the manual, you might find it on amazon. you will need a hard copy of the manual to sit for the Board
Welcome back. Could you pronounce your name please just so we say it correctly? Thank you.
