the current church is in a haste to build churches, hence the craze with the political class to raise funds for their development projects. this is being done in full view of the challenges that their congregants are going through in meeting their basic requirements. How many children would go to school and achieve their goals in life if all these money was to pay their school fees.

You should give and not follow what they do with it..as long as u have in good soil...whatever the priest do with it inst your Business...true priests represent God because God cant work without man...the same case applies to the Kingdom of darkness...People take their sacrifices to the evil Priest...helping the orphans and poor is good too..u have to give through revelation

Pastor it's true coz I have done that gospel of the grace of God.Pastors intimidate congregation but you can give as Thanksgiving or as a way of worship coz of what God has done for you.Tithe would be divided into three equal parts.Actually it's not tithe but tithes meaning you give a tenth of Everything and I don't think anyone gives that.

Tithe under the law was a command to the 11 tribes of Israel to the tribe of Levi. Tithe before the law was voluntary and is recorded only twice. Tithe under the grace is you give what you have decided in your heart because God loves a cheerful giver.

@@kinyamusa4655 I love this, it's degenerating to bible study, the scripture you quoted in deut14:24 says clearly what to do with the Tithe if you can not get to the Priest. As I mentioned earlier, I don't consider Tithing from Torah but b4 the law. Personally I advocate for Circumcision Just like Jesus, Apostle Paul, Apostle Peter etc although it's not a Sin to be uncircumcised, however, it's highly recommended for health benefits.. Hehehe

It is very hard to relearn what you have been taught your whole life. Only the 11 tribes of Israel were commanded to tithe to the tribe of Levi. Watch Kevin Ewing on youtube.
Abraham tithed to Melchizedek before the law. Jacob tithed to God before the law. Let all pray to God about tithe.
That was voluntary. They were not commanded to tithe. Abram tithed only once in his lifetime with the spoils of war not his own wealth. Jacob promised to tithe but we do not know if he kept his promise. We do not read anywhere in the Bible where Jacob was teaching his 12 sons to tithe.
