- Rainfall patterns are predicted to get even more erratic in a changing climate. In drought prone region of Bundelkhand, India, local and state administration has not paid attention to the traditional water sources and unsustainable practices have reduced ground water tables, affecting crop yields and income. Development Alternatives has facilitated the construction of more than 150 water harvesting structures over the last 30 years, including farm ponds, loose boulder dams, field bunding, stop dams, gabions and check dams.
Great video which is informative and thought provoking. Keep it up
Beautiful information ❤
Very nice good subject photopic and good management good teamwork I am proud of you all team member
Very helpful thank you🙏
I was delighted to see the initiative be a success with diligent community members and government officials working hand in hand. It is infact very important that the community owns and designs plans of action around the issues they face. It gets more sustainable and hence, better implemented too. Was a beautiful video!
Reason behind success is involvement of community in whole process.
