I participated in a pattern hackathon hosted by @unsewcial - this is a great way to explore your creativity and expand your sewing skills.
Base Pattern: Dress pattern McCalls 8322
Collaboration Partner: @sewingformysanity
Base Pattern Features: Flowy summer dress with tucks, ruffles, and an invisible zipper. The dress has a fitted halter-style bodice.
You have the freedom to modify the pattern in any way you want, allowing you to explore various styles and adjustments.
I knew right away that I wanted versatile, functional, yet gorgeous pieces. After sketching out a few ideas and creating a mock-up (test version), I decided on a two-piece coordinated set, which adds more versatility compared to a one-piece dress.
