I’m very blessed that I still have my Grammie. I’m 41 and she’s 87…she’s my bestest friend!! She’s a true gem! It’s because of her that I love to decorate for all holidays!!
Thank you, Olivia! I called my grandma, Nana. We moved in with her when I was 2 and she took care of my siblings and me while my mother went back to school so she could support us. Bless Nana's heart, she was 60 years old and taking care of a 2 year old every day! My favorite memory of her was when she played her grand piano and sang The Three Little Kittens.
Both of my grandmothers died. I never had the grandparent experience. Thankfully my mom made every holiday, birthday, vacation, etc so wonderful. She was a crafter, an artist, a seamstress, an awesome cook. She taught me and my siblings every talent she had. I thank God for such wonderful parents. They both have passed. I try to teach my children what I was taught. ❤

I grew up with only my mom’s mother. We called her grandma. She was a very quiet Christian woman and she was a great cook. Her egg custard pies were mouthwatering. She lived to be of age 91. Sadly she spent her last year in a nursing home with Alzheimer’s.
I also have many wonderful memories spent with my husband’s granny and maw maw. They too were great cooks and were both very kind and loving Christian women. Granny worked on her crochet and made blanket throws. Maw maw made homemade yeast rolls and quilted. I am not yet a grandma. Perhaps in ages years I will be. I do love children and being around them brings me joy. I taught in a preschool with my last job. It was the most rewarding experience.
I also ignore all negativity on social media and the news. I do not read it. My ❤ and mental health would be in shambles if I did. I wish everyone would release themselves from it all as well. I pray for you all and I pray for our world and my neighbors. May God’s blessings keep you all safe and in his hands. ☺️🙏🏼🧡

My maternal grandmother was called Mawmaw. I loved spending time with her, especially in her bright yellow kitchen. My favorite memory was finding her and my Pawpaw sitting at the kitchen table in the mornings with the Bible spread in front of them and them praying for their family.
I called mine grandma. We lived close to both grandma’s. My fav memory of paternal grandma was walking with her to church. She was a very spiritual woman. My maternal grandma would have me come help clean her home. She would tell me stories about her family. I cherish these memories since both have passed. I also had a great grandma who make me a pillow with ribbon 4:07 rosette’s. I still have this. It 66 years old.
Olivia, I called my grandmother MaMaw. She was a farm wife who worked hard all of her life. Some of my best memories were spent at her and my Granddaddy’s farm which was down the road from us. She was a talented homemaker, expert seamstress and quilter, and her cooking was so delicious! One of my friends had a beautiful sign made for me that simply says love, love, love. I have it hanging over our bed - I love your Christmas theme! The devotional spoke to me today. I struggle when friends or acquaintances say unkind things. I need to remember that we all make mistakes and not to hold people to such a high standard, and to learn to forgive and let go of anger, hurt feelings, and resentment. Give Benji Bear some hugs and kisses!❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️
My "Granny" and "Big Mamma" have both gone to heaven. They were the BEST grandmother's. My grands call me MeeMaw. I became a MeeMaw again last week. My daughter in law, bless her, had a very hard time. I would appreciate if you all would say a prayer for her. She is home, and finally, sweet Hallie Ruth is home as well. God is good!!!
I love how you used the Modge Podge and cinnamon to "antique" a piece of cardboard and turn it into a beautiful masterpiece. I will have to do this for my Christmas ornaments. Thank you for sharing this simple hack.

I called my grandma grandma miss her so much❤she was Italian and made the best food..sewed us doll clothes and made my first Halloween costume using all felt even a nose..I keep the tradition going by dressing up as a witch every single year..❤..loved your projects Olivia❤

The lace pumpkin is beautiful and so simple! I loved both my grandmas but was closer to my maternal grandma. She was a fantastic cook and a professional seamstress. We lived in the same city but about 20 miles apart. I could write a book on how fantastic my grandparents were. I inherited her love of cooking and sewing. I have no children but I was determined to be the world's best auntie because of her. She was with us for 93 years and even though she's been gone for 29 years I still miss her terribly.
Thank you for sharing your faith with us Olivia. I know some say it should be personal but, God commands us to share his love. BTW, I don't care much for a V-neck but your top is lovely. The scalloped neckline makes all the difference. 🧡

I called my grandmother “grandma”. She was wonderful. I was the first grand child. Looking back on baby pictures I looked like my mother and grandmother as babies. She used to call me baby doll. She wasn’t into crafts so to speak, but we were a family of card players. So it was nice to spend time playing cards. “Winter of

My grandmom taught me to cook. She came to live with us when my grandpop passed away. She was a fun woman. My sisters and I friends all called her granny. We watched General Hospital together and she would fall asleep, and I would wake her up and she would say, she was not sleeping. She was resting her eyes. When she was young, she worked and made boxes. for $.25. I still have one of the boxes she brought home. It is a large hat box and made so well. My grandmother and grandfather owned a candy store, and they had a pinball machine in the store which was connected to their tiny house. She loved her German cuckoo cuckoo clock. If I close my eyes, I can still see it when the door opened, and it cuckooed. I remember her red velvet couch and her claw foot tub. I am so grateful and blessed to have had them and my parents. I love all of these cardboard crafts. Going to try the hearts especially. Both my Grandmother's were called Maw-Maw. We would go to see both sets of Grandparents every Sunday either after we got out of church or sometimes go to church at their church. Both sets of Grandparents lived only 3 or 4 minutes apart but lived about 40 miles from where my parents and us 3 girls lived. I have many fond memories especially sitting with them and shelling peas or peeling apples on the porch..lol. I love the romantic theme you are doing for Christmas. I can't wait to see the crafts and your home. I like the name of the them " Christmas Love from the heart. Or Christmas love from my home to yours. Thank you too for the devotionals. Good morning Olivia and Mr. BB! How about "Holidays Homemade with Love". To me this represents all the crafts we make and decorate, the food we cook and bake, and all the moments we take to share this special season with our loved ones. I thank you for sharing yourself with us three times a week. I just said to myself this morning, " I don't know how she does this 3 times a week." To come up with all the ideas that you share with us and planning that out just blows my mind. I appreciate that you do crafts for every budget and truly do recycle to treasure crafts. I am still in the process of learning to accept that I don't have to try and live in a magazine or live up to someone else's style, but its ok to just embrace my own and live happy that way. You help with that so much when you show us that things do not always turn out perfect, give yourself some grace and just embrace! ❤🍁🌸🍂

I called both of my grandmothers, grandma. They were so beautiful, feminine, and wise. In my life, I lean on so many wise words they told me. When I stumble it is on me because grandma taught me better. Oh, yes, I love this last quarter of the year the best!
I called my grandmas, grandma & added their last name when referring to them. I didn’t know about the special nicknames until I married my southern hubby. He had a granny & nanny, both sweet ladies I have fond memories of. Love the devotional!! So thankful for Gods grace that we don’t have to b perfect to share our faith. When u mentioned that today, I thought of the verse in Prov. 24:16a, a just man falleth seven times, and rises up again. We are all imperfect but we can allow Jesus to love others through us. In our sheriffs statement at the school shooting he said “love will prevail”. Many have made signs, tshirts & decals with that motto. I wonder what our world would look like if we all practiced that. My mom’s mom was Nanie. I sang in a gospel group with her and my grandfather. My dad’s mom was Grammy. She baked every Saturday. I now live in their home. So many wonderful memories with both of them. I was very blessed I was 5 th generation until I was three on my moms side and had a total of 13 grand great grand and great great grandparents all together.

I agree so much with you that we need to be as loving as we can be and share the love of Christ, agape love. I called my grandmothers grandma. They both came to the U.S. from Europe at about age 19-20. One was from Italy and the other from Ukraine. My grandsons call me Nonnie, a variation of the Italian Nonna. I love the sound of it coming from them! 🥰

I loved everything about my grandma Oakley. We called our grandparents by their last name...grandma Oakley, Grandpa Jones. We never used their first names. My grandma Oakley was the best cook. Her food was wonderful. My whole family, on my mom's side were good cooks

One was memaw I was at her house everyday she watched me while my parents were working and all my cousins and myself stayed at her house every Friday night. My other was grandma. My grandma always told the best stories and painted ceramics and would let us help. She made us each an ornament each Christmas.

I called one of my grandmothers Big Mama and the other grandmother Mama Mullins. Olivia I called my grandmother Nana's to start and then when we got older we started calling her granny(after the grandma on the TV show the Beverly Hillbillies!). My grandkids call me Grandma or G'ma.

I called all my grandparents grandma or grandpa. I have my grandkids call me Nonna. It wasn't that I didn't want to be called grandma but I wanted a different "special" name for my 2 grandkids to call me. They call my mother, their great grandma, Nonna GG, which I love. My granddaughter came up with her name.
I called mine Grandma.
I called my dad’s mother Grandma and my mom’s mother Nanny. My 2 grandson’s call me Nanny.
