I modified my shroud spacer on the end of my 25cal Benjamin Marauder barrel like this by drilling all the holes out to about 3/16in. I’m shooting 34gr slugs at 65-70ft lbs and also drilled four 1/8in holes on each side of the shroud at the bottom pointing at an angle on each side towards the air tube just before it screws onto the breech and have 2 complete scotch bright pads or silencer felt works very well also encircling my barrel and installed from the breech forward between my barrel & shroud on my Marauder and dropped the shot noise 18db and this same technique can be used on all the guns with a shrouded barrel I’ve seen. I wish I could have a custom shroud spacer milled out of aluminum that fits on the very end of my barrel itself with even bigger vent holes to vent even more air into the shroud like this guy has done here. I feel sure I could quiet the rifle even more, It works extremely well and didn’t change my POI a single bit. This is the first guy I’ve seen to approach this technique in a video he just doesn’t have the 4 holes drilled into each side of the bottom of the shroud close the breech like I do but these holes help the entire shroud to act as a suppressor. Very Nice job I hope I haven’t explained how I modified my gun a little farther in such a way to make it more complicated than it really is, it’s pretty easy and it works extremely well. Nice Job
If you have the time to add a normal 1/2 unf silencer to add to the test, Hugget, HW, AT44, or similar. Just the haircurler, felt, washer type, if you know what I mean. That would make it a complete test of the effects of your setup.
Are you going to do the decibel comparison video as discussed? I would like to see it because I’m sure it’s better than what I’m getting. Still wondering if I did something wrong. Thank You!
I've noticed that several manufacturers that use similar set-ups with an air stripper that ports back into the shroud also have a small relief hole near the rear of the shroud to allow air pressure to normalize more quickly. Do you think there would be any benefit in adding a small bleeder hole to the shroud? Did you try a small diverter cone in the stripper between the end of the barrel and the front part of the stripper? Wondering if a cone shaped diverter would help prevent any turbulence in that air pocket caused by the air coming down the barrel in front of the pellet? I have one of these kits on order so might try these mods if iyou haven't already tested them. Thanks. Clear and precise instructions.
OK here we go again troy told me two weeks and that did not happen -- some how this got mixed up and finally got everything back!! put scope back on and worked with it AND now it all seems to be worth the grief of waiting longer than i thought i should have / anyway troy really does know his stuff the kral puncher breaker .25 works great on one fill ran 80 shots from 3100lbs. down to about 1000lbs. with shot string of 821 up to 900 back to 765 all under a quarter @ 15 yards and today at 50 yards inside .50 cent piece this guy is very good BUT be patient (that remark is for me)
I’m still waiting on mine you said it would be shipped out last Monday!!! That’s exactly one week ago! I’m in the states so shouldn’t take that long???!!! Any new info.. Thank You!
Update: I did something horribly wrong with the initial install, not quite sure what it was but pellets eventually stopped ejecting and were stuck in the barrel!!! So I took everything apart and reinstalled and VOILA! Back in business, quiet and no more POI issues! Thank You!
Well actually I must admit after many more shots my POI is back on track but after careful review with my decibel meter the sound decrease is negligible, maybe only 1-2 decibels decrease. Maybe Troy can let me know if I did something wrong but I give up for now. Very surprised because 3 baffles inside when they had none to start...one would expect a significant reduction in the sound....
Roffepuck don’t think there will be one. Mainly because sound reduction is minimal if any unfortunately. That was my experience. You would think with new baffles it would be quieter but it’s not. I reached out to T Hammer several times but no reply. Good luck

i will not again use this vender told me two weeks took six said would put on quiet end did not in fact did not even sent the tube with the gun had to call ???? said would change cocking arm did not ==asked he said he would send it and i could put it on myself although i paid to have it done by him

i visited your website and I don't see the upgraded quite kit offered, only the older model.
Troy does this effect the velocity of the pellet? Looks like it would reduce the speed of the pellet when it exits the barrel.

Does this work with the non-shrouded version of the puncher breaker?
thedankestgamer it does not. You need the shroud for the air to expand in to to actually quiet it down.

Requires the barrel and endcap to be shortened or needs a longer shroud in order to make it work.

It does not. The barrel on the pitbull is the full length of the shroud.
Is the end of the barrel threaded for a suppressor ? The Pitbull.
+Brandon Clem the barrel is threaded and it also comes with a threaded cap on the end of the shroud. It will accept any suppressor threaded 1/2x20unf
