Warning - beware this series - it starts off okay but ends up being trash
after 2 decent books where the MC shows positive character development, such as being a successful adventurer, gaining lots of powerful allies, etc. ...
BUT THEN the third book in this series - around halfway through flips ends up with pulling a blatant Deus ex machina - when the MC goes full Darwin Award Candidate for insane reasons, so much for her character development. The Saint character (not the MC) is another reincarnated and is total insane trash.
The MC even knows the other girl is highly dangerous unredeemable trash (and many of the reverse harem males are trash also) she (repeatedly for absurd reasons), allows the girl to continue to cause massive harm to the world. (yes ... this sort of BS appears in many similar stories, not just otome and reverse-harem ones). She is constantly getting distracted, while in frequently lethal combat, by what should be secondary at best concerns, and gives up her hard-won successes for BS reasons, constantly letting her opponents walk away free and allows them to get stronger, with her having the delusion that she 'did her best', putting herself or her friends in much greater danger ... this happens multiple times ... and the stakes keep getting worse because of this BS. No wonder the author pulls the Deus ex machina.
The god of the Deus ex machina, is also trash ... the reasons and methods are ... lame. Especially with regard to the main antagonist. totally irresponsible.
