I was young when they first came on tv, my mom didn't like TV, but every Sunday night I'd very to go to my grandma's and watch Sony &Cher with her. Such great memories.
Definenly memories worth cherishing! I wish I could have been around when these two were still together. The energy is honestly beautiful. It's a shame Sonny had to go so early. His writing still holds up today imho. He also just seemed like a great man.
My fave part of the show was when she did the piano number, VAMP !!! My favorite one was; “ Sleet , rain or snow , or wind and hell, it takes a scheming demon woman to deliver her male! ❤️❤️❤️
How funny is it that in the script she was supposed to go laugh briefly off stage and then return, and when she comes back to the chair Cher actually starts laughing uncontrollably. A really cute moment. Sonny seems to have his eyes locked on the cue cards about 70% of the time when he's saying his dialogue; he may have wanted them at all times in case he forgot something.
Wow, I think this is from the second and shorter-lived TV series they did after they got divorced, and they had each had their own shows on different networks for a bit, and this one didn't catch on like their original one because in the back of everything, viewers knew they were divorced and the chemistry just didn't feel right anymore.
