Step2 Remove motherboard
Step3 Remove loudspeaker and USB board
Step4 Remove battery
Step5 Remove metal stuff on the frame
Step5 Install metal stuff on the new lcd supporting frame
Step6 Recover the phone.

Please help!! You say digitizer and Lcd screen, are they both on that one replacement screen I received? My screen is cracked. I ordered a new Lcd screen online. I'm not sure what the digitizer is. I'm about to follow your video step by step and try to figure this out!!! But do I have to take out the battery and such Just to change the screen or did you do something else I missed?? Since my screen is cracked, can't I go in from a broken piece and just take it off??

No, you can't go in from the broken piece because you need to open up the back housing and disconnect the screen from the motherboard. Wit Rigs thank you very much. I ended up taking to a place(I ordered an lcd screen from Amazon) anyway, he fixed it, charged me $75 and the screen will not light up. I can hear the phone on, but no Light. So now....I'm at a loss. I'm re ordering what you linked....maybe that will work.

This repair is a challenge but pretty easy to do, but the video doesn't make it any better, the music is kinda distracting, obviously you could mute it, but commentary on what you are doing would be alot better. After all, it's not about how stylish a video needs to be, more practical.

Not to mention it doesn't even show the fix of the LCD, just the removal of everything, and when it gets to the battery the take it out, put it back in and put it back together....

hi
i replaced lcd and everything worked. when i opened second time then screen working but no touch reaction. i checked milion times all cables, and everything seems ok. what can be a problem ?

One of those cables is broken. The cable is delicate, even a little breakage will damage the whole cable.
