I recently learned that there was a running gag that HBO stood for "Hey, Beastmaster's On" 😂 I didn't have HBO but my friend down the street did and I remember that Beastmaster was on ALL THE TIME!
The HBO movies I remember most from watching at a friends house were Beastmaster, Cannonball Run and the Big Red One, and we were down to watch all three of them whenever they were on.
I remember at that time it was exciting to just be able to watch a movie. Sometimes it didn't even matter if it was particularly good or if it was a genre that I was interested in. Seeing the 20th century fox, tri star, or universal logo, etc... it always felt like you were about to experience an event.
Ha...I had the Dragon Man. Got him from the local dime store. Never saw this line anywhere else
I was completely unaware they existed until I stumbled on that blog post I mentioned.
As a kid i always loved these, especially the miniture playsets. God bless 🙏
God bless!
Loved this insight! Would like to see more chats inspired by action figures.. so relatable! Great job!
Thanks so much! Definitely more action figure reviews on the way.

I didn't have the action figures, although I had some of the little plastic ones.
I would love to get some of the little plastic ones - they're super cool - but I just don't know what I'd ever do with them.
@@jmstater I had a blast with them as a kid, but they are lost to the past now.
