Doing some family history, and trying to figure out to pronounce the original spelling of my last name that began (when my great, great grandfather came here to the U.S.) with SJ, but they changed it to SH. This was helpful.
Det måste vara någon sentida Stockholmsgrej det där med att ha läpparna inblandade i sje-ljudet. Norrlänningar och finlandssvenskarna har tungspets-sje och jag tror att vi i det flesta delar av övriga Sverige använder rent tungryggs-sje, dvs. utan att läpparna är inblandade.
I'm trying, but I end up making owl sounds
I love that your videos are short and straight to the point. Keep up the good work.

Thanks
Looove how you pronounce skååål. :) Jokes aside, this is so useful, tack så mycket!
An important observation. "skål" is the key word to the culture ;)
Is there a reason people decided to pronounce the -tion/-ssion words with sj instead of kj (kjol)?
In Sweden we like to complicate things! ;)
for some reason idk why but that sj just sounds right morphemically in that position for me too
Bra!
