Every time you ride that carousel you're only reminded of what you don't have, your failures as time passed on, and the growing pit in your very soul that nothing could fill. But when you think back to the past. To the way things used to be. It makes you feel happy, like you're walking on air, and for just a moment that hole is filled. You feel whole again. You feel at peace instead of feeling like you're in pieces. That's what I like most about this theme, and about X!Toriel. I resonate with that feeling of wanting to go back to a different time, when things were simpler, and if I had the chance I'd fight tooth and nail to get it back too.
This is a very interesting metaphor. But I beg to disagree - these are not the sounds of a circus. If you suddenly don't remember, then in Fallen Down Reprise, the melody at the end takes on the dimension of a waltz. And Nyx decided to reflect this in X!Toriel theme. Although the meaning of our theories is the same - Toriel really wants to go back to a time when everything was simpler.
Couldn't help but notice that this song actually reflects emotions when you pay attention, 1:05, you can feel a sort of sorrow, an inconvenience. And later on, you can feel rage and annoyances grow. And in the end, she tried her best to stay happy. Absolutely an artistic masterpiece.
I love her theme SO much.. The parts at 0:40 and 1:35 hurt so much. Her theme is full of anguish, betrayal and indignance. I *really* liked the soundtrack of the current episode! It gets better with each year 👏
For the first time ever, XToriel opens her eyes! But, why is she crying? Judging by the colour of her eyes in this small animation, she is under control of XGaster's power, so perhaps she cries because she is forced to fight in a battle she does not want to happen? Or will something happen during the next episode that will move her feelings? Only one way to find out! We will wait very patiently for this episode to arrive and to celebrate how far this series has come. If this does end up being the final episode we get from Underverse, knowing that Jakei has already talked about how pretty the animation is in this episode, at least we will have very pretty memories of our favourite moments from this series. Jakei and Nix, thank you so much for creating such a great project for everyone to watch. It sure was a very fun adventure. Hope to hear more about you two soon. Until then!👋❤
