Industrial or the largest fans you can find plugged in and facing their stalls always did the best job for me. With the fans blowing on high, the flies have a hard time landing on the horses. I know it sounds weird but it does work.. Keep up the great work !!
I think it's just something they pick up. I've seen another horse that does this without having been trained. I think they are just way more intelligent than people give them credit for. 😊❤️
Man could I ever take a good nap in there after with the rain hitting that roof! Y'all could make some of those sound videos that make people sleepy. I forger what they're called. But the farm sounds are very relaxing. Btw Jami you're pretty in that dress so don't worry your noggin about it! Yes, everyone has been saying Grey Goose needs a name but Jami started calling her "GG." Her name is still Grey Goose but Jami is just using the initials probably because she liked it better. I think Jami is so clever and creative! I love it!! Of course, it sounds the same as the name Gigi.
I love the rain and love hearing it on a metal roof. My mom said us kids would always go the the barn when it was raining, climb in the loft and fall asleep.
He is going to be upset. He doesn't think anything should cover their eyes and ears. First time I have felt sorry for one of their animals. 🤷🏼♀️ but I know they are trying help them. I sorry don't want to be rude. Gosh maybe I am watching to many Rick videos lol.
I love how the feather babies talk to Jami, and yell at Lester. Parasites can be so dangerous for our animals, y’all do a great job and have an incredible veterinarian.
Need to remember mud does double duty for animals, primarily it acts as sunscreen and it helps cool them off as the water evaporates. A secondary thing is the bug protection.

I have the same thing with some of my clothes.
Here in Oz our horses love their fly veils.... We never left them on overnight .....and always made sure there was nowhere for them to get caught up on....

Not much beats a gentle rain to end the day, where the droplets dance to their own sound. I can close my eyes and drift away , in the cosy warmth of my surrounds. Makes me miss camping, a tin roof is cool, but telling stories, or playing cards, while the rain tickles the tent is something I always remember fondly. Rain makes me hungry too haha. It may even make food taste better, well outdoors does that anyway.

We use a flymask on our Pony with only one eye all the time. It protects the only eye he has left and he also seems to have a sensitivity to sunlight, so it's like sunglasses!

What good babies they were. It is so funny I had actually gone to Amazon and looked at fly masks for them. Then that very day I saw Dixie with one on. I always paste wormed my horses in between being tube wormed by the vet a couple times a year. I loved seeing my sweet Peebles out being her funny self.
Im so scared of horses but I love them and this makes me want a couple. The feather babies have gotten sooooo big! Im so happy to see New Goose found a place beside the Ice Queen helping with the babies!💗
