It reminds me of how people will idolize killers believing that they would be the acception, the one the killer wouldn’t hurt because they accept them etc. Nope. At the end of the day that killer will prey on whoever they can get their hands on. Also love the wolf in sheep’s clothing theme!
And I think that can be applied to so many other dynamics such as cheating, manipulation and other things. Yes people can change but the fact of life is some people don’t.

Omg the creature version looked like a cannabis leaf which is the original meaning of the song, Mary as in marijuana, so to have it as a real question who turns into a weed monster is pretty genius ngl. Also for those who didn’t know that, yeah the song is about a weed addiction, some of the lyrics and the title of the song itself give that away. “Red eyes” like someone who is high would have, the fact it escalates in the lyrics from wanting to kiss to wanting to fuck as a metaphor for how quickly addiction can hit you. And leaving you to rot is withdrawls. Also, the imagery in this is genius because it adds even more meaning. The fact that the red eyes go away shows diminishing returns in a way, and the other guy she accidentally killed could be another person who was addicted. The fact he went back shows he was addicted, and he thought he could be smarter with her than the other guy, like how people on drugs think they can be smarter than the countless others who overdose. But in the end, it hit him anyways. He wasn’t special.

Makes me think of la belle dame sans merci ( the poem ) It’s a knight who meets a beautiful lady in the meadow and like they fall inlove nd they get into a love affair and then the woman brings him to a cave and cries and the man comforts her with kisses then she sings a lullaby and he falls asleep and in his sleep there are many men saying to run away from LA BELLE DAME SANS MERCI and he wakes up and he is alone again in the meadow on the verge of dying It’s a beautiful poem The woman was probably like a fairy or something, but like this animatic she wasn’t human and wanted to kill the man and make him think she was in love there are two point of views in this poem but yeah i thought it would be nice to share

WAIT AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SAW THAT THE DOOR TO THE HOUSE HAD THE NUMBER 666 ON IT- (which is commonly known as the devil’s number or just an unlucky number overall) But that 100% fits this perfectly and I absolutely love this so much. I know I’m a year late, but it’s kind of sad how I somewhat relate to this, they were my world to me, I accepted them no matter how hard it was to do so, but even after that, my heart still got pierced, it took a while to recover, luckily their friend was there to help assist with that, now their friend and I are dating and I now realise that maybe I was supposed to get broken to find the one I truly love.
I would’ve loved it so much more if she opened the door and she was like covered in blood and it turns out they were working together to trap more men for her to eat or something
