He was also always positive, even when he was struggling with his cancer he kept it in the dark and instead focused on doing things he loved and being around those he cherished. His laugh and smile were contagious, and never failed to brighten my day. He's a part of the reason that I want to take a career in nursing, to help those in need just like he did. And because of all that, he was very important to me.
