Who is enjoying this great song with me in 2023?
I am here in 2024
Growing up we had nothing. My mum sang this song all the time because she believed tomorrow will be better for us. I’m happy she lived to see us achieve success but she still left too early. RIP mama 😢
I’m here 16th April, 2024 still enjoying this song.
Am with u
Rest in peace my precious mother who slept to meet her Creator @88yrs on the 26th February 2022. One of her favorite igbo songs. My happiness is the fact that she lived to fly to Europe and America at will. Mom, may your soul RIP.
In 2024, vibing to this melodious song♥
May 2024: Still enjoying the wonderful song. My mom and her friends dance to the song, waving handkerchiefs.
I was born in Cameroon 🇨🇲, where were you born?
If ur mum still lives do whatever u can ,to make her happy mother’s are so precious dat we can’t afford to loose 😍🥰🕊️💐rest in peace to those we love so much that we lost in dis race of life May their soûls Rest in the bossom of the lord 💐💐🕊️2023 May we live more to listen to this belove song from our age mothers ❤️❤️❤️God bless nkwere women and all the Igbo race ❤️God bless Nigeria ❤️God bless the fruitful land of Biafra ❤️
No kidnapping, no ritual killing, no SARS, no 419, no Yahoo boys, less police road blocks, no Army on the roads, fairly good roads, free primary education, etc during this time. 😩
Not true, that you were not born during this age made you speak like that, if you were born during the early 80s and 90s you will understand that crime started from the beginning, ritual killings was even more rampant then, but was not celebrated the way it is now, the otokoto ritual killing that happened in 1996 and the coups and counter coup of the early 60s and 70s that lead to the Nigerian Biafra war in 1967 what do you call it,
You're right dear, Nigeria has gone soo bad, very sad 😔
hayii nothing good about this nation
anywhere mention why
Nawaooo...over Nigeria
Not true dear, all the things you mentioned here have been into existence but as popular as they are now, everything grows 🤣🤣 you don't expect them to remain low like that 🙆🙆
Nkwere/ Nwangele people should gather here.. I rep Nwangele
Both were same when this song was sang. I'm Amaigbo marry from Nkwerre
Umuenwerem Amaju Amaigbo son still listening to this master piece in 2023

Am telling you 😢
Wished I was an Igbo bride..I love the Igbo tribe ❤
My mom is from Nkwerre Opia Egbe in Ukwube Autonomous community. She knew , some of the singers and will always sing along. I am shedding tears as I bumped into this song. Sadly my mom passed on just last month 05/04/24. I am still in shock, morning and heartbroken. May her sound rest in peace. May all the souls of the departed rest in peace. Thank you for uploading this music.
My Late Mother Loved this song alot.May the Almighty God rest her Beautiful soul.Amen.
My mom comes to mind. I love you mom. Old age will never reduce the love I have for you.
Igbo women are our pride and they are the most beautiful black race anywhere. A big accolade to all those who put this song together and may their voices live long. In the same time this song has made me remembered my late mom... Ezinne, Mrs. Enderline Ifuruaku Ikeanumba. (Nee.. Odiukonamba) .. was associated to her because in my entire village community in Orsu LGA, she is the tallest woman at 6.7" thus I made her coffin at 7". Died 1st Nov. 1998! May her soul rest in perfect peace
May she keep resting in the Lord amen
God rest her
Same here, my mum do sing the and dance around, we will be laughing.
May she rest in peace Amen
May she keep resting in peace.😢
Nkwerre murum ndi Oma! Proudly an Nkwerre ❤ may God bless Igbo land!

Sleep welll my mom mama g, the science teacher of government collage afikpo,we miss u😢
Am a proud Igbo and a proud to be Nkwerre
Proudly an Nkwerre girl🥳
Proudly Nkwerre
Growing up in Enugwu in the early 80s, this was one of the songs that enjoyed massive air play in Radio Nigeria with so many women in always singing long. May the beautiful voices that made this song never be silenced forever. Let's create a cultural Igbo hall of fame of historical cultural heritage for our next generation. This song will make the cut any day!
Nobody knows tomorrow. Tomorrow is always better.❤❤❤
This song brings back nostalgic memories of our mothers in Anambra dancing with two handkerchiefs during burial of one of their own. The evil going on in south east has made such things almost impossible. May our lands be free from all oppression!
😢😢😢
Amen
I play this song in memory of my beloved mum, whenever we hear the song,we know she is in the kitchen.i miss her.i do the same thing now in USA😅

This is what I call Indigenous igbo music it is so raw and beautiful and it is boasting my brain.
Nnamdi kanu said it clearly that " our mothers represent our culture in everything ie if you doubt me jus look at your mother dressing very cultural 🤔🤔🧠🔥 "
This album transports me to a time when my beloved mum still walked this earth, rekindling deepest memories of her. Each time I play these songs, I feel her spirit around me, sheltering me with her love and comfort. I miss you, mummy. Rest well.

Nkwerre to the world. My home sweet home 💖💖
Nkwerre to the world my dear 🥳
Nkwerre to the world
How I wish this song will come out in video. At least let the new generation Nkwerre Women replicate this. I am from Mbano but I can't stop listening to this song.
The song has video too I don't know why dey did not post it
Replication of this song will mess it up,these women worked so hard to produce the music,a new version might not even be as melodious as this one
Listening to this song again now after so many years. OMG! This song is so powerful. Filled with morals that we really need in this generation. God Bless IGBO!
Listening to this song reminds me of my paternal grandmother. Miss her so much. She used to sing and dance such songs that taught about virtue, hardwork and respect. Not now that people praise mediocrity, unexplained wealth and nepotism.
Nice song....., May God bless all our mothers ❤️🙏
Ezinnee Helen Nwafor….Nee’ Egbuchunam Rest In Peace.
In my next life you will be my mother.
I will chose you over and over again

When my mom was alife she so much love this music, chai😭😭😭😭
💃💃💃💃💃💃
My mother used to go home back in the 80's and to a lesser degree in the 90's as part of her exportation side hustle...She'd bring back food, clothes music ..I recall this CD , esp the first song...our cultural music has always fascinated me since early childhood..when my Dad csm3e back from his first return trip home ..armed with a cassette of our local women singing ...ibwas hooked...love the local instruments, rhythm, melodies...call and response, chorus and group singing sound.
I always shed tears listening to this music, always reminds me of the good old days now everything is lost to hustling, hardly have time for family😢😢😢
This song brings tears in my eyes each time I listen to it. Our culture will never be buried. No body knows tomorrow indeed.

I love this song. It reminds me of my childhood when marriage Igbo women in my village will sing and dance joyously during their monthly meetings.
My mom used to be part of them, though, as Nwan anwa, but later became a pioneer member of the Nwan nwan club in River state.
Sweet memories of my childhood in my village are something unique and wonderful.
