I’ve been running switch everything since 21 next and it’s always been pretty slept on till now. If you can put Giannis or someone who can defend the 1-5 on ball it will shut down most peoples PNR offense in unlimited. Also on next if you extend pressure with half court press on, they’ll FCP the guard.

If my lock doesn't fight through the screen, luka gets a three. If they call a PnP and run hard to the rim, it also creates a lot of stress on the defense for me because I'm not as good at switching and rotating as you. When OOP dropped, I moved to switch all. I'm running Jordan at the point, so that could be a problem, but some of my opponents have absolutely no idea what to do against the switch all, so it's been working pretty well this weekend. And if Jordan (who I have hof brick wall on) does start getting mashed by like Ralph, I will go back to the old settings. Any advice is always appreciated from you though man. You are *the* expert in terms of defense on MyTeam.
Yep it's definitely tough at times. The best thing you can do is mix up your looks, try to blitz and predict where the ball handler is going to try to get bumps
Switch all has got 8 wins in my past 10 games. I put SF Anthony Davis or SG Ben Wallace guarding the ball handler so if I get switched on the center I can still get stops. When I put on go over and stay attached I get fried on the screens every time. Switch all is great for me.
@@dwight552 I’m on next gen but at the start of a game pause it and go to defense settings. Then go down 1 or 2 boxes on the right side it will give you the option to go over screen go under screen or switch. Set the first and second ones to switch.
To get corners to stop dropping just turn ya run play frequency to 0 and help defense to 0 in the sliders if anyone don't know if u do that I promise u the corners will never drop them no matter how much they up fake

Get the +4 shoe boost for Hands that's the reason those animations happen his rating is at 90 and with the shoe boost it gets to 94 hopefully this helps

On next gen at least, the switch all should switch as long as you're not controlling a player involved in the screening action. You need to off ball or manually x switch for the switch all to be effective.
He does that because he is manually rotating all of the other defenders. He decides who gives help and when. I'm okay at it sometimes. Ty is a master at it. But yeah, if a casual runs these settings, you're exactly right. It's easy baskets off the pick and roll every time.

If you are bad at the game, the settings probably won't help much. Best way to get better at defense is to just play the game

recommend you use MJ guard the SM let you SF guard the PG most the time ppl dont use SF and do switch at least SF the high is better than MJ
