1. Just curious what the second cat (red cat) placed. 2. The third cat is SO beautiful, but they were carried away by (I’m assuming) their owner. Why? Did they not get placed at all?

He's being carried off just cause wanted to show Barbra Bosco (breeder/owner) with him. These are good placings for Silver/Golden Persians!
Something like half & half. CASTINGCROWN THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE (copy/paste - thus the all caps) is female & of course the Torties & Calicos (gender colors) as well as both himmies. Males are generally larger than females, but not always.
I would definitely want to own one someday but i know that they take a lot of grooming and care the only thing that I should look out for is their health problems because of their flat faces. Persian cats are definitely my favorite cat breed.
Exotic shorthairs, because of their shorter hair, should be considerably easier to care for - of course they lack the Persian coat, which is a major visual attractor. Flat faces, healthwise it's variable. Many are just fine but there are things to look out for like nostrils being too small, or the nose in general being too small (a trait some breeders seem to prefer).

If you choose wisely (not by impulse) getting a healthy kitten/cat isn't that difficult - the upkeep is a real and unavoidable thing, though.

Lovely cats but i wish they were bred to be allowed to have normal noses. Not only do i find it spoils the looks it is difficult for the cat.
