This is really a different & unique way of making kadhi and rice I’ve never seen or tried this way ever before especially y with the bhindi. Maybe I’ll try without the bhindi as not sure if family members will like it. Can we also add pakoras in this method?

Asalamayekum sumeira wow I'm hungry aur dinner time is passed its uk time nearly 10.22 I'm orgnaly from east Africa but for 45 years I'm based in uk I'm memon too but I've never tried coconut and bhindi but all most same bhuni khichri and kadi is my favourite just wanted to know how did u add bhindi did u fry it or just add the raw in kadi tkr my dear lots of duas and love to u and shireen sis ❤️ 🤗

@@sweetsavoriesbychefsumeraanwer I made the kadhi and kichdi today, again what a lovely dish, very tasty and a bit different to the normal curry we make because of the green masala and the ladyfingers. The kichdi was tasty but didn’t turn out fluffy like yours perhaps due to a combination of the amount of water (I couldn’t see through the turmeric colour water for an inch above the rice level 😂) and the length of time I had soaked it prior (about 2 hrs by the time I had completed the Kadhi & started on the Kichdi)! Anyhow, the flavour was there so I was pleased. Thank you again. Look forward to trying your next recipe now 😄 P.s. I shared with my friend who gave good reviews and enjoyed a lovely vegetarian lunch so thanks for making someone else happy too ☺️🥰
