Hi there, I am the grandson of the announcer, Bob Robertson, featured in this game as well as a few others on your channel. He was most well known for broadcasting WSU Cougars games, but he also broadcasted Spokane Indians baseball, Tacoma Rainiers (used to be Tigers) baseball, and Tacoma Stars games off and on. I have been working on an archive to preserve his life's work for the past few years as he sadly passed away last year at 91 and I was very happy when I stumbled across your channel a couple years ago. Is there any possibility that you have either the original VHS tapes these games came from or HQ files of the transfers that I could add to my archive? I would greatly appreciate that, as I have already digitized some VHS tapes of his myself but none of them were Stars games. Also, if you know anyone else who has footage of him in any capacity, that would be awesome! Thank you.
Hello Aidan! What a great grandad you had and you should certainly be proud of his work. What a full life he had and I am sorry to hear he is gone. All of the original tapes or DVD's that have been posted so far have been sent to a man in Las Vegas for a future MISL Documentary that he is undertaking to be shown on a platform like 30/30 or Netflix etc. I will make sure though in the future to hold all of these future digitzations(the hard copies) that your granddad is in and we will coordinate and send them to you. I will be heavy in the edit room starting mid September and will hold these back as I come across the.
