Daal Chana 1cup (200gms)
Masoor Daal 1cup (200gms)
Moong Daal 1/2cup (100gms)
Onion 4medium
Tomato 3 large
Garlic 5cloves
Green Chillies 5-6pcs
Salt 1.5tbs
red Chilli 1.5tbs
Cumin 1tbs
Turmeric 1/2tbs
Water 3.5ltrs
Tarka:
Oil 200gms
Red Chilli Dry 4pcs
Cumin 1tbs
Turmeric 0.25tbs
Rice:
Rice 1kg soaked
Cloves 5pcs
Cardamom 5pcs
Salt 1tbs
Water 1.5ltrs
Oil 150gms

The best comfort food ever, even though we used to eat a lot of different variety of foods, but Dal rice was comfort food and goes with everything and some of my fav combinations are Dal rice with Chicken Chilli (Indo Chinese chicken chilli) , Fried Fish, Fried chicken, fried okra, fried brinjal etc etc - Love from Mumbai

I have seen thousands of Indian recipes on different foods but I have never seen a simple , technical and purist chef like this. All the Indian recipes of almost everything curry and dal is same.
