I don't know if you noticed, but boyfriend dies 13 seconds before the end of the song. So the song is not over yet, maybe there is a secret addition we need to do at that moment, which will help us escape. Maybe they will add it in the next update, maybe there is a move we need to do in the game, maybe pico will save us, I don't know, but I would prefer it to have a good ending.

If you watch the credits carefully, you can see everyone was shaking hands and all that other stuff, arguing over everything, BF was shaking hands with Pre-defeated IHY Luigi while MX was behind him, and in the end, BF sits down with Mario. The whole Pico finding them on strings thing IDK why tho.
Seeing boyfriend lose with no twist or switchup is a nice change of pace, which sounds awful, but ironically, im totally here for it. You have to conceptualize that he, at this point, just has NOTHING left. The art does SUCH a great job at conveying that emotion.
Okay, hear me out. Mario.ExE is much more successful as a character than Sonic.ExE/Xenophanes. Sonic.ExE toys with his food, and is very arrogant, while Mario.ExE gets straight to the point. Not even 5 minutes in, the first cutscene with him in it, he literally just states "3 songs. Just 3, and you go." Xenophanes sends in his minions, who again, toy with boyfriend, while Mario.ExE does this to win his game. Mario.ExE doesn't just want to kill, but he offers a deal to BF, which he had failed. So, he ended up dying by the end of All-Stars, along with GF. In the ENTIRETY of like, EVERY Sonic.ExE mod, neither BF or GF end up dead. In MM v2, BOTH BF AND GF wind up dead at SOMEEEE point in the mod.
Sadly it doesn’t matter because canonically M makes the rules and he has the power of being a discord server owner who can remove anyone that he doesn’t want.

If you watch the credits carefully, you can see everyone was shaking hands and all that other stuff, arguing over everything, BF was shaking hands with Pre-defeated IHY Luigi while MX was behind him, and in the end, BF sits down with Mario.
The whole Pico finding them on strings thing IDK why tho.

Seeing boyfriend lose with no twist or switchup is a nice change of pace, which sounds awful, but ironically, im totally here for it.

Mario.ExE is much more successful as a character than Sonic.ExE/Xenophanes.
Sonic.ExE toys with his food, and is very arrogant, while Mario.ExE gets straight to the point. Not even 5 minutes in, the first cutscene with him in it, he literally just states "3 songs. Just 3, and you go." Xenophanes sends in his minions, who again, toy with boyfriend, while Mario.ExE does this to win his game. Mario.ExE doesn't just want to kill, but he offers a deal to BF, which he had failed. So, he ended up dying by the end of All-Stars, along with GF.
In the ENTIRETY of like, EVERY Sonic.ExE mod, neither BF or GF end up dead. In MM v2, BOTH BF AND GF wind up dead at SOMEEEE point in the mod.
