    I have played every possible style over the last 30 years. Everyone has their favorites but over the last few years hybrid strategies that incorporate both sides or flow back and forth have done best by a HUGE margin.

      after spending the last few years playing DGE style, I have also made the switch to hybrid and/or light strats that transition to dark side throughout the roll progression. Personally, the mindset and discipline that I developed while learning and playing DGE was the key for me to see the game differently and consistently win. Combining Charlie's DGE knowledge and Jacob's hybrid strats work well for me.....

    I like this concept and gonna try it out tonite. Only thing I’m gonna do is hedge (lay 4 and $10 yo) on the come out until I’m on house money.
    Also one suggestion I think would work good is on first hit I would place $20 on the 4&10 instead of collecting. Then next hit instead of doing $20 field why not do $20 Horn. So u got the same remaining numbers (2,3,11,12) covered for same amount but get paid a lot more if any of them hit..
    depending on how hot/cold the table is u can let it ride or pull down after 3-5 rolls? Let me know what u think or if im missing something.

      @markthepoint look at the strategy Waylon just posted a few days ago called the OG 410 strategy. It's badass. He does it with the 410 the 5'9 and the 6 8. I've watched Waylon for a long time and one thing he told me is don't fight the seven. I think what you're doing here is solid.

  • @jhf444
    @jhf444 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    I use to play the iron cross until a friend of mine told me how much the field bet was robbing the odds on the 5,6 and 8. Also, you will eventually get killed on come out roll trying to establish the don't. Even more, when I've established my don't and go all the way across with place bets; it's shocking how often the point was hit on the first roll losing the don't?!

    • @markthepoint
      @markthepoint  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    You could just hop the 5 for $10($5 each) and it would essentially pay you $70 also($75 for the win - $5 on the other combo). The only drawback is that you lose the $10 on every non-5. But it saves you money on a short roll.

  • @chadcrist8204
    @chadcrist8204 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I play this very same strategy but I lay the 4 or 10 (whichever you prefer but not both) for double the Don't pass bet to hedge it on the come out roll. That way if 7 is rolled then no loss. Also bet the 11 and 12 for enough to cover the don't pass to hedge the come out as well. so as long as a 4 (or 10) isn't rolled on come out I'm good. We know a 4 or 10 is harder to hit than a 7. then you can choose to take down the lay bet.

    • @chadcrist8204
      @chadcrist8204 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      also if you pull down your bets it doesn't hurt to place bet whatever the point is to match your don't pass bet. In your case place it with $200 and if 7 hits its a break even and if the point hits, it's profit

    EXCELLENT strategy!!!
    Here is what I would change a little though:
    If the point is 6 or 8, I would go for a $100 profit with the Iron Cross and then take DOWN the Iron Cross and the field bet AND my $200 Don't Pass bet and just let the shooter either seven-out or make their point. I say this because 6 and 8 are still makeable points and I don't want to leave myself vulnerable to a $200 loss!
    For the OTHER points of 5,9, 4 and 10, I would STILL go for at LEAST $100 from the Iron Cross and once I make that, i personally would take EVERYTHING down - INCLUDING the $200 Don't Pass bet - but I would give YOU the option to either leave it up or take it down - the $200 Don't Pass bet.
    I feel that if I could make $100 doing this every time and do this at LEAST 5 times, I will make $500 and that is a GREAT win from a craps session!!!

      Never take down a don't pass. Do a place bet if you want on the point, so you will win with the 7 or the point being rolled. If you have a $200 DP established in the 4 or 10 buy it for 125. If the 7 comes you win $75 while if the point rolls you'll win $50 minus the VIG. The 5 or 9 place for $150 the 6 or 8 $180. This way, you're going to profit no matter what rolls. I also like adding a hardway bet if it's a 4 or 10 $10 if it's a 6,8 $1 (again with the level of DP bet determining all the bets)
