I think Jack needs to do a photography exhibit of the dusk over ponds in Maine. Love the expressive compositions and unique eye. Come to think of it, he could do a “twisted trees” series as well. The AT has lots of great views, and it’s always great to see them. I hope everybody realizes, however, that lots of the stuff we see here can only be seen here.
I really enjoy all the filming and photos you take! It’s all those little things, flowers, cracks in rocks, odd trees, ferns(I really like those) ! All through your video the Hermit Thrush was singing in the background. May be the same one that was singing in 5 Stack's videos a couple of weeks ago.
My understanding was that gorgeous Bob got bit on the "tick" somewhere on the trail. He might make a second effort after going through changes. I think he was smitten by the waitress at the breakfast restaurant in Franklin, NC. Known for taking down many a once strong make hiker. Hawk Tuah!
Hiking the trail, or any trail, can get boring. I personally enjoy walking along and my mind goes all over the place. I definitely like the way Captain Jack captures the feel of walking on the trail, and I definitely like the little side pictures or views of all things interesting.
There is something oddly satisfying about watching you drop a pill into your Nalgene. Keep pushing north Captain Jack! 💪🏻
