Great interview 👏 loved Florence and Zendaya’s anwsers, how women in movies are often portrayed in one dimension, not how we really are; specifically that we are complex and nuanced, both vulnerable and strong, both good and bad, no person is just binary but a amalgamation of different qualities and opinions/ideas and how often as humans our choices have outcomes that are not straight forward and often tumultuous or have unintended consequences.
The more Florence and Zendaya talk about Chani and Irulan the more excited I am about this film and the (hopefull) sequel. It sounds like Denis Villeneuve gave both characters layers that often get overlooked in the original work. I'm so happy for this film and super excited about the idea that Dune Messiah will be green-lit.
