Yesterday I experienced what I think is the NEW and upcoming process. I needed to go to the Airport to pick up my sister. I get lost a lot during my life as a driver. I tried to get MAPS on my phone and it would not show. I had to leave and felt I would be late for her arrival. I prayed for on the spot directions. I have no idea how it happened but when I got to the Airport, ON TIME, I phoned my sister who was just then going to pick up her luggage. I felt that I must no longer depend on outside information completely. IF that is NOT available, "THE LORD KNOWS THE WAY THROUGH THE WILDERNESS...ALL I HAVE TO DO...IS FOLLOW! " (anon to me.) I’m not getting what you get from your Hebrews quote. We are told, in the New Testament that we can operate in the gifts of the spirit and that includes the gift of prophesy. The Bible is very clear that God chose Israel out of all the nations of the earth for Himself, Deuteronomy 7:6, 14:2! And, Romans 11:1-5 says that Israel is still God's only chosen nation. And, Romans 11:17-18 say that we Gentiles who have put our faith Jesus Christ, have been grafted into Israel, so we shouldn't boast against Israel. Philippians 3:20 tells us that our citizenship is Heaven, from which we eagerly wait for Jesus! And, Hebrews 11:13-16 say, "All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. And indeed if they had been thinking of that country which they left, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them."

God's will is that we be doers of the word, and not hearers only, James 1:22! 1st John tells us to not believe every spirit but to test them because many false prophets have gone out into the world. And, the only test given for prophets in the word was given by God Himself in Deuteronomy 18:20-22!

Right there in Hebrews in the Bible it says that God is not speaking through prophets anymore!!!!
And, in Matthew 24, Jesus, God the Son, gave us the signs of His coming and the end of the age! In verse 11, He said, "And many false prophets will rise up and mislead many people." And, in verse 24, Jesus said, "For false christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect." Please don't be misled by Joseph Z!!!!
I’m not getting what you get from your Hebrews quote. We are told, in the New Testament that we can operate in the gifts of the spirit and that includes the gift of prophesy. Maybe there is a doctrinal difference depending on your denomination? We are one body in Christ so I pray Gods love and blessings on us all who love God and are called according to his purposes. He is a mighty God indeed.

I can't understand the speaking in tongues without translation. A few other strange things like people speaking and breathing in the background. Otherwise I appreciate the heart for God and his only begotten son JESUS!
1 Corinthians 14 says there should be an interpreter when speaking in tongues in public. Otherwise do so in private. Is the word of God wrong about this? Even the weird evil voice in the background is speaking in tongues without an interpreter. That's weird
