It will depend on the number of cones you have, the size of them (based on the size paper you’re using) and the size of the base you’re using. Then factor in a margin around the edge of the box and make you’re evenly spaced markings for the holes in pencil, that way it’s easy to adjust if it doesn’t quite go right the first time / ends up too crowded / too spaced out.
I like the idea behind it, but I think this video would have been much more helpful if it actually showed the whole process instead of just the finished product with an explanation. Thanks for the idea though!
probably neater to cut the holes first then wrap the lid in paper and use a craft knife to cut a little + cross in the spots where the holes are
It would have been more constructive to show you actually measure the grid and cut holes etc .
