Good call on Fletcher. If you call him safe, you not only reverse the call on the field, but you end the game. It was not conclusive, so better to keep letting them play. A good umpire doesn't want to decide the outcome of the ballgame on a bang-bang play at the plate. He made the right call.

With such a close millisecond call, they should have just sent Fletcher back to third and allow for another Angels player to try and make something happen, because in baseball anything can happen. But then again you could say that when the Orioles went up to bat, that the Angels should have held them to 8. Also the fact that in the 16th inning, the Angels batters would be struck out by Stevie Wilkerson a batter that throws 53 mph and throws like a little league pitcher, just shows that the Angels had their chances.
