Jasmine Kovarik omg yes it's very stressful! But it's so worth it when you're done cuz you appreciate it so much more and it just shows how strong of a person you are and that you're capable of more than you think
Omg how did it go? Im considering taking the program in Citrus College here in LA. Cost would be no more that $3k, not including financial aid. Really trying to figure out if a school with a bigger (well known) name matters more once you're out in the field

My Paul Mitchell School experience. Was a very disappointed! Don’t think because you pay way more ‘ you get better training! You there to learn basics ! And roll tons of perms ! I had 3 special ocasión styling classes during 18 months .. once a month repetitive color and haircut classes or no classes at all ! Out side can be a nightmare chasing the learning leaders to get help ! And their obsolete worksheet program ! Full of perms . Relaxers and finger waves .. you gotta figure out in your own ! How to make an updo ! Go to a cheaper place .
I'm starting at Paul Mitchell tomorrow. When I went and talked for the admissions person she said that if you go away for vacation for a couple days it's fine. Now I'm reading in the catalog you can't miss a Saturday. Is this true? How strict are they on attendance?
GIRL THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME AT CHASE TOO, ditto completely. I hate those ATMS. My management was joking around and I overheard, they said "let's cut her a check and see if she takes it." LIKE REALLY, grow the hell up. I believe in karma and would never steal. Great bank but poor work environment.
I showed them a picture of my hair with highlights and they gave me a balayge and completely bleached my hair golden yellow in a LINE. However, they left my naturel dark brown roots alone. It looked so stupid!!!!

I got my financial aid to cover my tuition for paul mitchell.
To cover the full tuition? How did you manage to make that happen?

they ask for my 2015 tax return when i did my fafsa and i did not make a lot that year and my entire tuition is covered by fafsa and pell grant.
yes i did. they go by a certain year and that particular year i did not make a lot.
My tuition was 18,300 and they gave me 22,000 in student loans and grants so it def is possible if this is something you are really wanting to do.
So do you do an apprenticeship after you finish cosmetology school or do you do it at the same time?
shireen golchin you would do both at the same time, out here it’s class on Monday and work at the salon under the salons license Tuesday -Friday
