I think the argument of veteran players leaving is hollow. Y’all maxing out your uranium every week for years and years have put so much time and money into the game. I’m pretty sure sunk cost fallacy will keep you coming back the way the devs intended 🤷♂️ they got you all and they know it. Having played on and off myself for years, no relics, the whole thing needs a lot of rework… but the options to make the game more fun and increase new player retention has the potential to hurt the companies bottom line. They are going to continue to shift balance to sell packs or upcoming events. Uranium is something that is desired because you can craft the powerful pieces that make the game more fun. Power fantasy is why alot of players play games. For me personally I’d love to have porcs, punishers, and helicons just to have fun in raids. But relics are only useful in terms of PVP for high PS. There’s no incentive to play higher PS other than fun. There’s no need for relics unless you want to be competitive in CW. There’s no good way to get uranium unless you play CW. And there’s no good way to get into those tiers of CW rank to make good amounts of uranium without relics. So you either pay real money to get them or spend years to get them but chase a moving goal post cause new relics come out, balance changes happen etc. If the devs did it right they would make it so higher PS pvp matches increased your end of match reward, which would incentivize players to get higher PS and stronger pieces to play more efficiently, thus giving relics a purpose than just CW. Additionally, there would be more consistent options for earning uranium for those that can’t enter CW competitively. They would still be behind the players like yourself, but relics would be a more realistic aspirational goal then “maybe in 5 years I can get my first relic… but still not have a complete build cause it’s only one relic” The top players are so obsessed with uranium being “too available” and the cuts they’ll take to their uranium gains to understand that just because the top 100 clans may be hurt, there’s a huge player base that would love to earn uranium and you all are barriers to that entry. If all the “veteran players” quit today, the rest of the player base would actually be able to just fill that void and CW would actually probably be interesting. Even if we dropped PS requirements, the top clan’s would still be the top clans cause of their ability to have full inventories of fused items. Uranium wars are a way to show on paper they are looking out for the little guys without actually significantly changing the results. The game makes no sense, there’s no progression. You get the same end of match rewards for playing 5k as you do for playing 20k. The only progression that occurs is when you finally can play CW viably. Other than personal desire to use certain builds or play certain PS, everything is pointless and relics are just a carrot on a stick. Rant over…

As far as your math, you are being very optimistic in thinking every single person could potentially earn up to the gold rank (30 ore). Several players struggle and barely get up to gold. It would be nice for a metric in game that shows the total amount of ore actually given out from each mode. A potential problem may be that players usually sell the ore to buy relics which lowers the amount of relics for sale while simultaneously burning up the ore that players who can afford to actually buy it in which is usually spent on fusions. In both cases simultaneously ore and relics become depleted and in the end voila, inflation of prices on the market resulting in more players needing to spend cash for gold just to keep up with the game. Pretty smart on the devs part tbh 😅
i don't agree. the ore price drops down, so richer players buy the ore and store it until 200-ore-relic-crafting event arrives. i've seen multiple inventories from 200 to 3000 ura being held for that event. if anything this is bad for the devs. the devs make $$$$ from just selling the op raijin pack that has been active throughout the whole event. that's their cashgrab.

@@PlacersPlays what i meant was that this uranium cc and extra influx of ore in the market is not entirely bad for the playerbase. it's an opportunity. those who can patiently buy some ore and wait for a bit, they can trade the ore for potentially double or triple if a cheap relic crafting event comes around or craft relics themselves in the event. also if you've earned any ore, right now is the worst time to sell, because relics become a bit expensive to buy, and ore prices have dropped by like 10-15%. yeah the cash grab is the part i agree with, but it's not because of the ore and relic price changes. it's done via selling the raijin pack which is very dominant in the legend ura cc mode.
i don't do clan wars and i think this was the best so far, more uranium less time spent. by making clan wars OR battle for uranium, separating the veterans from beginners would be a solution

Now everyone can receive uranium and also train new players on actual CW. I think people are just greedy and don't think about everyone in the game and only focus on the top clans witch it's hard for most to grind to be a top clans without Ore because top clans have relics. You guys are already established so let the lower clan get some love so you guys can have more competition at the top. It's a win win for me

The event itself is good because it gives everyone a chance to gain uranium. On the other hand its not good that they got rid of normal cw for it. They should have it on at the same time as cw but have it so you can only play either CW or BFU and not both so it gives "the less fortunate" chance to earn uranium.
Bin around since the Beta Played thousands of CW matches 2019-2022. Must have been active in more then 20 clans. It got so boring that i gave it up Dont care one bit about uranium anymore. Sold my relics and bought a ton of lower tier stuff for the coins instead. Now i can build hundreds of different vehicles and really enjoy that what made me wanna play this game in the first place. All i do is PVP and some events Best decision i ever made in Wasteland.
ura is unoptanium needing to be in a clan to get it means 90 percent of the players get nothing and the amount you get from the event means it will be years to maby get a relic ,,,it wouldent be xo if the few strongest didnt get catered to
I purposefully am playing 0 games this week of that mode in protest. They just need to make bronze the lowest tier so any team that plays clans can cap bronze every week. They could also increase the amount of teams that can be diamond, gold, silver, etc. if they want to put more ore in more players hands.
You can definitely use relics in uranium wars. Even 24 energy worth of them would only run you 7200 of your 10000. I saw them here and there across my matches. Bigger problem is that the builds that dominate it. You either play firebrick or something with raijin. Otherwise each match is nothing but a cointoss.

And that's only for the first mode the clan one allows up to 13000.
Perhaps C.W. and B.F.U. are offered every week, but if your first battle of the week is in one mode, you're prohibited from participating in the other. Each week, the player decides what they are going to play.
I vote replace levi wars with power score bracket clan wars. Levi wars has been in a horrible state for a very long time. Only 1 viable levi/cab. And only got worse with the addition of finwhale making it a brick wars.
Add mech legs and helicopters to Levi's, might shake up the old stale meta or it might not, at least it gives the stuff they keep adding a place to play it competitivly.

In a way I hope this game dies out. I doubt it seeing these comments lol, ALOT of people are itching to fill those spots that players like you are thinking about leaving. So even if the majority of the highly competitive side of cross out leaves, new feet will fill their boots and take reign as the highly competitive. I hold such much hate for this game and I think it's the fact that I invested so much into it and saw the game fumble horrifically. Or I'm just salty something I got didn't work tomato tomoto 😂. In all seriousness I'm glad I quit this game months before this. Saved me a few more dollars and alot of time. And to those that like this update, good for you. And like many comments stated, the more higher clans that overall leave the more lower clans will move in to fill those spots. But trust me when I tell you this, you will soon find out and understand just how these current players feel down the line after you've got all your toys. We need more blueprints slots. I quit playing after the balance changes. The game is becoming less interesting.

Why can't you use them? You can viably fit relics in at both ps without sacrificing anything.
