My original pair of All-Star are a size UK8 and I alway found them to have a little more toe room than I like, so I went with UK7.5 on the 70s and at first I found them tight, but after wearing them in the house for an hour or so, my feet are getting more comfortable in them. They look so much better than the All-Stars too!

I find them comfortable but not walking like 5 hours in them, but for a walk around are great. I really love their looks! They are so simple and well known shoes but compliment everything I wear!
SneakerTalk365 i’d say the vans old skool. it still looks fire even they get beaten up and age especially the sk8 hi i still rock my pair i bought 2 years ago
I have tried both normal and 70 chucks and i realized that the tongue on chuck 70 is much floppy than the classic chuck (that is more rigid). It's strange, because the rest of the body shoes has a much ticker canvas on chuck 70 than classic chuck.
About sizing...i'm 8.5 in classic chuck. I have bought chuck 70 8.5 too and seems to be ok. But i have read that a lot of people choose an half size down than regular converse.. That shoes seems to be more bigger than regular converse outside, but inside they seems not big, they are comfy (in the same normal chuck number)
I agree! I’m a women’s size 8 in the classic Chuck, and I bought a 7.5 in the Chuck 70. It ended up being too tight, so I had to sell it to a friend. Now I’m thinking of ordering an 8, but I’m also considering going up to an 8.5 for a bit more room.
is there a lot of difference in cushioning between the IIs and the 70s? I own the IIs and don't find them super comfortable (but that could be due to my bad heels)
My regular Chucks are size 41 (7.5 UK), should the 70s also be the same size as my regulars or should I still go smaller?? Any other brand of shoe I usually get in a size 42 (8 UK).
I have black 70's as beaters. Compared to the regular chucks, 70s have a cream soles, it's more durable and has a shiny tint to them. It's a different type of "comfort" I agree. Great review :)

@SneakerTalk365 Bruh do you feel that extra length room or gap at the top of the shoe? I'm usually 10.5 with them vans and nikes but with this new pair of chuck 70's 9.5 I bought last night I feel like I kinda fucked of on the sizing because of that half inch length room or gap at the top part inside the shoes.
Will they open out a bit .. here in India we don't get those half sizes so had to go a full size down. They feel a lil tight and my second toe is longer than my big toe .. so just wondering if I should exchange them for my regular Uk size 9 ... I've purchased a Uk 8 .
