The missing documents I believe are in Ivanna's coffin buried behind his golf course on private land. Judge Juan Merchan has been, so far, a phenomenal judge, keeping justice even. I hope he doesn't become "soft and cowardly" deciding on the sentense, the punishment.
Not age, not past position, not possible future pisition, not the size of the bank account should be an EXCUSE for anything but the full (unfortunately ONLY) FOUR YEARS.
As an American, I am sick of entitled people not receiving PROPER consequences.
I am a US Navy veteran. I am 90% service-connected disabled. As such, I rely on the VA for most all of my health care. Today, I had a very positive experience at a VA doctor appointment. Even though their department was very short-staffed, they did an outstanding job. There is nothing special about me; the medical staff were just doing their job the best they could. They did their duty, and they did it well, leaving me feeling heard and respected. In regard to the Trump "hush money" trial, the prosecution, judge, and the jury did what my VA providers today did for me: They did their duty, and they did so with every due diligence, and with honor. Their service was in the name of justice, and as such they served all of us very well. I for one am very proud and grateful for their service to the great state of New York, and to America!

There was never a hearing on the 10th charge so it is not too late for a 30-day sit down. Even if Rump gets probation on all the other charges a 30-day sit down might cut down of the BS for coming trials.

The convention of no jail time for a first offence makes sense when the defendant:
1) was only found guilty of a few charges,
2) has an otherwise strong moral track record, and
3) is repentant.
It should NOT apply when the defendant:
1) was found guilty of 34 charges
2) has a long track record of being found civilly liable and has numerous ongoing criminal cases, and
3) treats the justice system with contempt.
And admitted he wants to terminate the Constitution.

The access hollywood tape should have been the nail in the coffin to keep people from voting for chump-the-loser in 2016. If he had lost the electoral college, he wouldn't have violated campaign finance laws covering up the payment to Stormy Daniels via Michael Cohen; he only did that because he "won."
This trial couldn't have taken place in 2016 because the facts weren't complete or known. chump-the-loser finished making the payments in 2017 and Michael Cohen dropped a dime in 2018. Then there is that BS OLC memo that says you can't indict a sitting president, hence him being cited as unindicted co-conspirator in the Cohen prosecution. The earliest the case could have been brought was 2021, but it never should have been an issue.
Don't get me started on all of the crimes NY declined to prosecute before he entered politics. Those, too, could have obviated the need for this trial because he would have already been in jail.
So why didn't it? Political reasons to benefit the democrats!

The baseball analogy sums up all of this. The Supreme Court has to have the same ethics codes as every other judge in the country! It’s a sad state of affairs when umpires have more ethics than Supreme Court justices.

Each count carries 4 years max. That's 136 years. They should ask for 25 years and hopefully get 2-5 years.
The 4 year max is there just in case the defendant is nonwhite. Doesn't apply to rich, powerful white guys.

All in the same week, of all things-‐Memorial Day, where we honored true patriots who defended Democratic principles.
It was a extremely short deliberation considering the magnitude of this case. I assume the jury had a high degree of intelligence and obviously Trumps Defense was unbelievably flawed. It showed that he was "guilty as sin".
Notice how McConnell was the only Republican leader in that graphic that didn't attack the integrity of the judicial system, either directly or by implication.
Out of 44 Presidents or 250 years. He didn't called his body guard to deny the meeting!!
He can not legally appeal until after he is sentenced by the Judge, that officially ends the trial.
