The bible says we all fall short of the glory of God! But the beautiful testimony is when we are all brother's and sister's in Christ and that God says once we repent and turn from our sins and receive Jesus we are all saints(despite our sins) in His eyes!

My Dad had so many shirts that he just kept wearing no matter how many holes. The cows didn’t care when he fed them. It drove my mom crazy. That was a sign of a sensible man.

Phil and Kay live in the same house they have lived in for I think over 40 years their sons are the ones who bought new homes when they moved out on their own when they got married and had their kids but Jase Willie and Jep still live pretty modestly for the money they have especially from the show I've never seen Alan and Lisa's house as for the clutter Phil and the boys affectionately like to tease Kay for being a hoarder LOL

Looks like the old Cabelas wool pattern before they went to the woolmate. I have a complete set and it's HOT because it's insulated and was marketed as machine washable. I can't wear it unless it's 20 f or lower and I'm on stand only.

I learned the hard way not to mess with my husbands hunting clothes! I not only washed them I put fabric softener in the washing machine....I thought we were gonna get a divorce over that one! He took them outside and buried them under a pile of leaves for about a month even when it rained he didn’t remove them! Like Phil said he then hung them on the close line for several days and put them in the storage room after that. Thank goodness hunting season was over when that happened! The next deer season he blamed me for not killing but 1 deer! Never touched them again!

I could so watch you 2 forever. Couple years ago I repaired a jacket that a man in his 80s has gotten from his parents when he was 19 years old. It was the first jacket that had an embroidered patch of a business he had started as a teenager and had that business for many many years he is known up north here in our state as a legend. The jacket was so old and so Warren but I had to put patches on the elbow and fix the pocket lining and even fix the patch. Someone offered to buy him a brand new jacket he said I have to have this one fixed it was from my parents years ago who are now gone. Your story of your jacket reminded me of this and it put the biggest smile on this man. The cops even had to be fixed I couldn't believe it but it brought tears to his eyes to see it restored in the best way we could do it so he can enjoy it again
Phil is a man of not many words but when he speaks he always has knowledge to share or a point to make he lives his wife god his kids and a simple life
Later on in life when Phil passes on that jacket will be the most valuable thing to that family

I've had old flannel shirts like that. Have 2 that have holes around the cuffs and really worn elbows,but I've had them longer than my daughters been alive,and she has 3 kids of her own now. They still perform a service.

Miss Kay is a sweet lady I love watching her she reminds me so much of my late grandmother that passed away in 2010 that I miss more than words can explain but I know she is in a better place with no suffering
