- Driver intros have been made. The turn marshals are in position. The truggies are sitting on the grid. You can feel your adrenaline surge as the main is about to begin.
While you anxiously wait for the starting tone, you mentally prepare for what’s ahead - reliving the qualifying heats in your mind, checking off what worked and what didn’t. For a moment you picture yourself on the podium, just like in your dreams. You’re smiling for cameras, holding your Losi 8IGHT-XTE in one hand and your trophy in the other.
Then the tone sounds. Suddenly it’s full pin, wide open, sprinting for the hole shot…tearing along a good line through the turns…seizing opportunities to put as much distance as possible between your truggy and the traffic coming up from behind.
It’s all coming together. You’re in the lead lap, still holding your position, about to take the win. And this time, it’s not a dream.
i used to race an mp7 back in the dirt nitro chalenge around the year 2000, this is really giving me the itch to go out 1/8th scale racing again plus battery is way better now days.

I wonder if they will eventually have some pre-painted bodies for this truggy and the buggy? I don’t mind painting and have painted my Losi 8ight xte rtr buggy already, but we also have winters where I can’t paint but might need replacement body 😂.
Drop the price by $200 at least. You're asking too much for only 4s and T-6 aluminum.

Forgive my ignorance but what’s the differences between the buggy and truggy? Wheelbase? Etc? I love my rtr xe 😎🤘
Wheelbase, width, wheel and tire size. Truggy is like the cheat code of RC racing but they're still fun lol. Usually slightly larger engines or motors. Hard to tell but the electronics look the same as the buggy RTR
@@BradWoronaalso on top of that I’d imagine the shocks and shock towers are a bit larger.
Of this thing performs just as awesome as my 8ight xe rtr buggy then its hands down worth every penny! And I race the buggy every week and i also race a techno et 48 2.0
Can't wait to get mine, what's next?

I just got the ebuggy and now this comes out? My gf is not going to be impressed lol. Does this run the same electronics as the ebuggy?
I did the same and want this truggy. The buggy is great though. I may have to sell something to get the truggy later on
@longboardguy I was debating selling my senton and putting it towards the truggy just because I won't want more cars than I have use for at once. But my senton is also the only thing I have thay i can use as a basher so it's a tough decision
@@BradWorona I hear you. The senton is definitely a nice basher truck. I’m in the same. I used to have a larger collection but I sold a bunch. I had too many and wasn’t using half of them. Now I think I have 4 total. I do have a Talion I wa thinking to sell and go with this Losi as I find myself racing or just playing around more then hard bashing now days. But then again the Talion is discontinued it seems so I also can’t decide!

Dominate at the rec race track? Tell that to Kyosho, Mugen Seiki, Tekno or Xray. Those ones are the dominators.

Has been for years. Matter of fact, I got a conversion kit from Losi for my nitro 8-T, now hard to find for the 8 platform, and put in a Tekin system. Can run 6S, which is what this thing needs. ;)

Race vehicles don't run on 6S. 4S only. This is not a basher. It's an entry level Racer and the combo in the car is quite good.
