My niece always told her Mom when she was 3, 3.5 that a man always comes and plays with her during nap time or night time. Anyway one day my sister was going through a photo album and Diana said “that is the man who plays with me”, it was my Dad who passed away that Diana never knew. So cool. 💗💙

Hi Colleen, I just finished watching your video “mom shaming myself” and toward the end of it you mentioned that you haven’t heard a mom say that they exclusively formula fed the entire time.
Well, my mother exclusively formula fed my younger brother and I. She says that when I was born I preferred formula over breastmilk and by my second month she decided to completely stop pumping and only do formula. For my brother the other hand, she didn’t even consider breast feeding him because she had such a good experience formula feeding me that she already knew that it’s what she wanted to do with him.
Like you, my mom was really upset with herself for not being able to get me to like breastmilk/feeding, but she realized that all that mattered was I was happy and that I was getting all the nutrition I needed.

Hey Colleen!!! I am not a mama, but my mom is a lactation consultant, and I asked her for help about how to help you make the transition from bottle to breastfeeding, and she stayed you should probably get a lactation consultant to help you, but she told me a trick to give to you! She stayed you should try instead of feeding the baby's directly from the bottle, you have to use a feeding tube that goes from the bottle to your breast hahaha I don't know how to explain it very well, but you stick the feeding tube that goes from the bottle and the tip of the tube should be next to your nipple, and that way the baby's have it easy to eat cause it's easyer from the tube than from the boob directly, but they go getting use to breastfeeding, and little by little they will like the breast better cause they see its not that difficult and they will give it a chance!! I hope you can understand it, if you need her instagram to ask any cuestions or anything we will be honored to help!! You are amazing!! ❤️❤️ (sorry if my English is not perfect) ✨❤️❤️

Oh yeah for sure! No question who the father is there 😆 The only difference is that Flynn is blonde (right now) but other than that everything from the way he looks, talks, says things, his facial expressions and in particular his eyes- everything is Erik. He’s just the cutest

Colleen, my daughter suffered with this, it’s from two things, breast pumping posture ( hunching over) and holding two babies! Small ball between your shoulder blades against the wall, slow stretches. Lean back when pumping. ❤️
Chronic pain can be difficult to deal with, not just physically but mentally. When you feel like nothing is helping and you know the pain will always be a part of your life.

Ohhh my gosh, Colleen it's INCREDIBLY important to teach Flynn to never run near the pool!! I worked as a lifeguard and I lost count of how many times I witnessed people cracking their skulls on the cement and pool edges when they slipped. It can happen far more easily than you think, but especially for a toddler who's just learning balance and coordination.
I'd also recommend not allowing him to jump into the jacuzzi because it's way too shallow for that and he could super easily break a leg or his spine if he were to land on the bench part. I winced so hard at that part in the video because I've seen so many horrible injuries happen in pools!

Colleen - I know you didn’t ask but just wanted to share in case it might help with your shoulder. You might look into getting an ice therapy machine. My dad had one of these when he messed up his rotator cuff (sounds similar to what you were describing) This machine is wonderful (used it on my back for awhile) It helps with inflammation by keeping the area cold; however it’s not freezing water so you can keep it on for hours at a time. It really did help him for awhile to deal with the pain in his rotator cuff. He would usually sleep with it on at night and then would feel better the next day. Or use it when he was working at his desk. Not sure if it will help with your shoulder but it might be worth a try.
(Found one similar to the one he had: on Amazon called Leonns Cold Therapy Machine. This pics help show how it straps to your shoulder. But there seems to be a bunch of different companies that make them now.)

Flynn’s ability to hold a tune/pitch always blows me away. Most just 3 year olds would NOT be able to sing happy birthday in tune.

I have zero memories for the first 6 months of my twins life. Thankful i took videos and pictures cause of i didn’t I’d have nothing. So glad you’re still vlogging! You’ll definitely appreciate it.
The first few months with twins are just straight survival mode and spending each day just hanging on by threads. So it’s like your brain doesn’t have any capacity left to hold any memories. At least that’s how it was for me.
It sucks so bad cause i remember each and every detail and milestone with my first born… but with my twins i don’t remember much until it started getting easier 🥺

For your shoulder pain: I’ve gone through my fair share of injuries and chronic pain throughout my life. One thing that really helps me especially when I’m having a bad day with pain is tiger balm. I’m not sure if that could help you and your situation, but I know it’s helped me with multiple issues and thought it was worth mentioning. Only negative is that the smell is STRONG.
Tiger balm is so good!! I use it for my migraines
