Emily, you did an incredible job, I’m tearing up- so great! In consideration of your dads asthma, it might be a good idea to get a dehumidifier for the bathroom to prevent mold since there’s no window- I only say because I have a similar bathroom setup and a small dehumidifier has helped so much!

You can just tell how okay they were with what they had, they weren’t asking for much, just a refresh. They were probably so busy living and providing, that they never pu themselves first.
