I heard Neil a couple of weeks ago on Vernon's show in work in which, speaking from NZ, he said that it had been a '**it summer' to which Vernon had to issue the standard BBC apology of the same type his missus did to the Strictly audience after Bruno Tonioli critiqued Jay McGuinness' bullfighter dance. Neil certainly got 'em talking in the office at work, that's for sure!!!

We've had ENZSO, and the music of NF (Solo or CH) really suits the orchestral makeovers....he's so overdue to do an album like this. The previous New Zealand gigs he did backed by orchestra was screaming out for a CD release 🙂
@@crb0r Out of silence is a great album, and it was wonderful being a fly on the wall watching its production! I'm just thinking how great an orchestral album with all his classics would be, from Enz through CH and solo. The ENZSO project has some beautiful work on it, but very blown out. A gentle strings does amazing things for NF songs. Theres a couple of You tube I find especially stunning, One Step Ahead and A Gentle Hum 🙂
This seems a bit boring on first listen. A bit one note and missing Crowded Houses unusual twists. Hope it's a slow grower. The studio version is a bit more lively and superior. Looking forward to a new album with Mitchell Froome and a decent drummer this time. To the Island had terrible drums!

I get that the bass guitar has to be there because of who's playing it, but man it just does not fit in at all with the rest of the instruments.
