Well crap. That's something else I "need"! Picking up the different sized rocks and the brush pile sold me. I haven't looked at the price yet. Nice video buddy! We'll talk soon!
Definitely let’s chit chat and I’ll tell you more stuff this can do. Though you have a log grapple and it will do most of the jobs this split top grapple is really the attachment for surgical removal of “stuff”.
Stay safe and thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
Well done as always Tony . Those cylinders are not cheap implement cylinders . Great quality . The teeth design allows too grab logs up too certain size from butt end also . People need too support there country manufactures and pay a little extra for quality and well thought out engineering . Great presentation 👍👍👍👍
Stephen I couldn’t have said it better. The Stinger CCG56 is an awesome grapple and truly picks up everything you throw at it.

Hey Tony , really like the option on this grapple to pick up different size material
At the same time . Thanks for sharing . 👍🏻🇺🇸
Del, you’d love this Stinger grapple, it’s really a functional piece of equipment.
Stay safe and cool.

Thank you Tony. Another excellent presentation of a fine piece of equipment!
Keith, glad you enjoyed the video. You are correct, this Stinger grapple is awesome.

Mr Tony that looks like a great grapple. I like that it has independent clamps.
Mike the Stinger grapple with the independent split top is extremely functional and great at picking up odd shaped items. The more I use it the more it impresses me.

Man the grapple is sweet! What a game changer👍👍
Jeremiah I was blown away at the versatility of the Stinger split top grapple.

Hi Tony, great video. I have had a dual cylinder grapple for 3 years now and absolutely love it. As you pointed out, excellent for those odd shaped objects. Enjoyed the video.
My other grapples are all straight top and work well but the split top really works better at picking stuff up.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
hi there great show ,nice tool , i think you can also open it up all the way and rake backwards . best to all john
Hey John how’s it going. You are right, most root grapples can turn into a rake however not as good a a three point landscape rake.
Hope you’re staying cool and dry.

Good Morning Tony, Definitely American Quality 👏🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Though there are international companies that supply quality attachments I definitely would prefer buying US manufactured products.

Hi Tony: That’s a very nice grapple. I have an Everything Attachments Wicked Grapple and it’s been a great grapple. I don’t use it very often. I use the log grapple all the time.
Richard I’ve owned the Wicked 55 for three years and it has served me well. However the Stinger split top grapple definitely picks up irregular objects so much easier.

Thank you Tony. Another great presentation.
Glad you enjoyed the video.

Thanks Tony, looks like a nice grapple.
Mark glad you enjoyed the review on the Stinger grapple.

That’s a nice looking grapple Tony. A grapple is one implement I couldn’t live without.
Dick I totally agree, my pallet forks are the attachment I use more but it’s a toss up depending on the job I’m doing.

Looks like a well built piece of equipment. Nice welds l like the gussets and that it sets down flat.👍👍
John, the Stinger split top definately has a lot of features built in as well as being well built.

Every tree service company I work with has this style of grapple. They are the best all-around style, in my opinion! A Feller just needs to remember that when purchasing a lighter weight grapple, to help with lift capacity on these sub compact tractors. They are not an anvil and are not ready for the next county fair demolition derby! Use it like you have some sense, and they will be very handy for a good long time! Thanks for sharing and continuing to find these great companies,Tony!👍
Wayne. you are spot on! There is a lot of stuff you can do with a tractor if you just slow it soen and know your limitations. The split top grapple is definitely a much more functional attachment than a fixed top, I appreciate you watching and commenting. TCT
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ thank you for another awesome video.
My grapple gets used constantly. If I ever need to replace it I’ll give this one some serious consideration.
My single lid (wicked 55) has some limitations being a single lid vs the double lid. @71 ya gotta be super careful how much strain you put on your back. The grapple does all the heavy lifting
Thanks again
Dan I to own the Wicked 55 and it really works great but on the same size and shape objects.
The split top grapple by Stinger definitely has the advantage when picking up different size stuff.

Hi Tony. That certainly looks like a nice grapple. I’ve heard that stinger makes a good product . The company is in Minnesota. Thanks for the review.
@@clubdoraoutdoorsandfirewood Allen I can't tell you how well made this grapple is and having independent grapples is definitely the way to go.
Thanks for watching and commenting.TCT
That's a beauty of a grapple. Nice job!
Derek, now that I’ve tried the split top grapple I’m a super fan.

Great job on a very good presentation .
Jean glad you enjoyed the video.
It truly is a fun attachment.to use.

Tony’s great looking grapple. Probably should sent it over to Chris in the wood 🪵 yard . He like 👍 breaking things plus might save the battery box on his tractor 🚜 from lifting logs 🪵 on 22MB EASTONMADE processor. Great 👍 video, good 👍 to see you looking after your tools . 😊
Ha ha Leonard, I was talking to Chris about a grapple and he definitely needs a light weight one for his woodyard.

Great video as always my friend
Jimmie glad you enjoyed the video.

After watching this Stinger dual claw grapple in action I'm going to reach out to you for some additional advice. It might be time for me to "upgrade". I use my current single claw grapple a lot and struggle with the exact issues you mentioned. Thanks Tony
Dick, with as much as you use your grapple on your property there definitely are advantages with the split top grapple that will make your job easier.
Thanks for all your help as well as watching and commenting 👍TCT
Thats like combining are small dozer with a brush rake.
with a FEL on a tractor.
and a touch of excavator with a thumb.
.
All in one package..
It definitely is a useful and functional piece of equipment.

Hi, Tony, let’s get talking Grapple😊
Rick as I mentioned it’s one of the most fun attachments to use.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
Still love ours. You can beat them pretty good
I agree the Stinger split top grapple really works well and is a time saver.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
That grapple is pretty nice. I can’t remember if you have the frostBite grapple also or is that just Chris? I definitely like the idea of not over buying an implement and loosing lift capacity. I also like the versatility of a grapple that can multitask. I need a grapple for some clearing I want to do this fall so this info is very timely. Love your videos,Tony. Thanks.
Though I own both the Frostbite and Wicked 55 grapples the split top is definitely a multi functional grapple.
If you’re primary work with logs the Frostbite is the way to go. but if you want something that will do logs, brush clean up and root grapple the Stinger is the way to go.

AR200 steel is 70k psi yield strength AR400 is 177k psi yield strength FYI
Now that is something I was not aware of. Does that make it more brittle than the AR200. From my understanding many dump trailer manufacturers use AR200 not AR400.

I believe its like me comparing a alder tree to a fir tree.
.
Fir will flex a lot and not snap super violently.
Once a alder gets to its braking point, its wowsers batman violent breaking of the wood. As i know far to many people that have been injured, or lost there life to those red-alder trees.
.
The softer metal likely withstands blows of cargo being dropped in it better than the stronger steel. Along with road abuse.

@@BGWenterprises Time will tell if the AR200 will stand up to the jobs I have planned.

Hi Toni should be picking up my new axis soon
That’s awesome, I’m sure you can’t wait to start splitting.
Definitely want your opinion on what you think after you’ve had a chance to try it out.
Will be interesting if you like the vertical over the horizontal splitters.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
@@TonysCoolTools for my bundle business I think it will be great all I use is a supersplit on my 6th tractor trailer load
@@LeBlancfirewood The SuperSplit is an awesome splitter for sure but having the log lift with the huge table and standing up not hunched over you splitter you will increase your productivity and save your back. 👍TCT
I put my supersplit on blocks but it gets my neck area from lifting the handle
@@LeBlancfirewood well soon you won’t have to worry because you will be vertical and boy does it make a Hugh difference. 👍TCT
Thanks for the video Tony. I just got my CK 2620 two weeks ago. So far so good. That grapple looks awesome, looks really well thought out. I like the grill protection and tree pusher. Question for you - how heavy is your rear ballast weight? My property is extremely steep and the backhoe puts the weight very far rearward. I have filled tires and would like to get rear wheel spacers. Seems like having the counterweight closer would be more helpful. On FB (near me ) a seller has a 1200 lb concrete ballast block cheap. This seems a bit heavy to me. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!
The home made concrete square with the make shift lead weight on top weighs in ant just about 400 lbs. It’s compact and easy to install without a quick hitch. I’ve found with that weight and my loaded tires I can pretty much pick up the capacity of my tractors without the rear end being lifted up. My Chipper weighs in at 800 lbs but I don’t keep it on the tractor that often.
Though the 3point on the 2620 will lift that weight I probably would not use that as my primary ballast.

After watching that it really makes me wish I had the money to buy one of those :( oh well, you can't have everything, I mean where would you keep it?
Jean, just put it on your wish list. Santa may find your list!

Hi Tony,
Is there a particular grapple that you could recommend that would be good at picking up a single log to about waist height so that one could easily saw that log up into say 16" rounds? I am especially wondering if it would be easily possible to cut ALL of the 16" rounds, especially those in the area of the middle of the log. Thanks so much.
Dave unfortunately none of the grapples I've reviewed are designed for cutting firewood across the length of the log.
The Frostbite is the narrowest one at about 30'
Thanks for watching and commenting. TCT
that's too heavy for one of them there KU-BOATER L2500??? time to fire up the TYM and get something done, even if it is wrong!
