ahh what a great informative video! I currently have the 'vintage' newt scammander Hufflepuff scarf from the studio tour and I LOVE it! it's one of my favourite things.

I'm french, and last week I've been in Les Galeries LaFayette, there was a little Fantastic Beast shop for the new film "Grindelwald crimes", I was so happy to see it ! Because I've never been in England to visit te studios etc. And I saw the Newt Scamander's scarf, the last but one that you showed. I want it so much ! But it was too expensive for me. Well thank you then !

I got mine at universal online. The scarf is sooo warm especially right now and the honey color is way better then any scarf that I’ve seen, like I pulled it straight from the movie!

Yes! Bought the newt scarf too when I saw it at the London studio tour as well. I also agree it's the closest screen accurate one.. but I think the tassels and material is slightly different :( how hard is it for them to make the true one. Hopefully soon!
raikobi I agree, I do find it odd that screen accurate is not the first option that would be available. We know they would’ve made it at least twice before, so just use that pattern for the merchandise 😅

I am a Gryffindor but I love those scarfs that I wanna be a Hufflepuff, it so bright. I also want to buy Newt's case for the scarf. I only have a Gryffindor robe, scarf, and tie. I dont have a jumper yet. I will focus on wands for the moment 😊

Belgian Ravenclaw here but I really have a soft spot for Newt and I was searching for an accurate scarf to honor him. We only have the one with the logo on french websites. So thank you for the link, let's wear this vintage scarf !
I have seen few versions floating about - this one to me, just seems the most accurate. I believe there are even more Hufflepuff scarves available, so I'll need to get them too 😅
Tip: the studio tour ones are not the same ones as the Lochaven ones. They studio ones are not from lambswool like the Lochaven ones. And the color is a bit different too

Personally,i like Newt Scarf(the Second One) the Best. I have the Wizarding World mustard one(which is awesome)but the Thicker Stripes just Speaks more to me.

Can you measure the length of the gray stripes and the length of the yellow stripes for the scarf at 3:05? I am trying to knit the scarf myself however i’m not sure how long to make each stripe!! Much appreciated ❤❤

I thought I was the only one to be superrrrrrr picky about hufflepuff scarfs. I prefer darker yellow, thick yarn, and wide. I haven’t found one yet!
I've yet to buy the Lochaven Hufflepuff scarf that was the one they used in the film - I think this will prove the best

Oh gosh! So sorry for the delay in reply! I managed to measure the scarf and it ends up being 65 inches or 165cm - that is before the tassels. Hope that helps 😁

The last scarf of The Cursed Child version looks so similar as it is a Gryffindor scarf, not a Hufflepuff one.

There can be only one true scarf and those are made by Lochaven. Lochaven made all of the clothes including scarves for the Harry Potter films. Get one if you have a chance. They're really soft and warm. Made with lambswool but not itchy at all. Lochaven scarf will last for years unlike the studio replica acrylic scarves.
I think I never went for that one because I was scared of it being itchy! I'll have to give it a try 💛🖤

@@onespellaway yes and you can find 2 versions of it: the thicker 300g version or the 170g one that Platform 9 3/4 sells which is adequate since it's very long.
