Review: Leather Bottle - hand made costrel by A&E Reenactment handicraft

Unboxing and review of a leather costrel made by A&E reenactment handicraft.
Andrey (the A part) is very knowledgeable in many aspects of medieval reenactment, and helped me with many questions I had. these guys can make almost anything short of forging swords and armour. I've seen scabbards, clothes, candles, shields, and leather work, all made perfectly.

I would like to learn how to make one of this! do you know any websites or videos with tutorials?

I never made any in the last 25 years, just a a kid in some school activity years ago, but the base is just dipping a wick in molten wax and letting it set, over and over again. A&E do sell wax candles by the bundle, so it cant be that expensive or tiresome to make them by yourself, but I never researched that area.

Is the leather fake?

fake? you mean faux leather? of curse not, this is a rigid and waterproof material, faux leather is fabric with a polymer coating, not even close to the proprieties of actual leather.
