I don't get why this drama is so underrated in mainland China, why those people hate it so much. It's a genuinely good drama, with intriguing storyline and characters. I feel sad seeing people hating it QwQ
They don't want others to see that people in China have serious mental health issues? maybe...Still seeing these kinds of things as a "weakness" which they don't want exposed. "we don't need psychologists because we are strong" kind of thing. And then this series shows how people cannot cope with stressors, and Chinese policy is "don't expose the dirty laundry"?

I know this is joke, but please take this show with a spoon full of salt. It’s very dramatized and not at all accurate depiction of real life scenarios, it would like saying grey’s anatomy is a accurate depiction of hospitals lol. Good entertainment, questionable accuracy.
I think in almost every Cdrama I watch, there's always one parent asking; where's your BF / GF? Get married! 🤣 Most peculiar solution / decision for the mother who has cancer. Her children would know anyway.
