- Since we live in the Philippine countryside, its awkward if we don't have backyard gardens. Thus having backyard gardens in the countryside is a must. Today, I decided to gather vegetables such as okra(lady finger), tarong(eggplant), and parya (bitter mellon) for our simple meal. Truly, a person who plants, harvests! Enjoy watching gagayyem! Enjoy the countryside life!😁♥️

CJ He have someone who does the filming for sure especially the silent type like this one and for the loud type where they talks, mostly he is with his sister or brothers are doing on their own. And for the editing, maybe his videographer or himself or both but I think that's not necessary, all we have as viewers is the quality output and result. Gayyem Benben, all the veggies you prepare are awesome to look at and really mouthwatery! We are also farmers growing up and finished school with our small farming income but our childhood life was priceless thanks to our hardworking, very supportive and very loving parents , similar to what I notice and feel you have with your familynow. This kind of life as long as you work hard is worth the benefits and there is full satisfaction. Farmers are real heroes to me . Enjoy your family setting right now ‘coz when you all gown up and have your individual families, it’s nothing like what you have now!

I love it! Your concept is a Philippine version of Martha Stewart and Ina Garten who are celebrity chefs and personalities here in the USA and abroad. But I love your version because it is so authentic and eco-friendly. Love, love, love the authentic cooking in firewood and the use of palayok (red clay pots) for cooking dishes. But more importantly I love seeing all the plants where you get or harvest the vegetables from as most of us do not really know where our vegetables come from or how their plants look like. I am from the city and do not have a province but you are living the life that I have dreamed of. I now know it's a lot of hard work. Thanks to your videos. By the way I have always wondered how long does it take to cook using firewood? Does it take a long time than a conventional stove (gas or electric)? Thank you so much.
If I may…cooking with firewood is faster because the temperature is quite high, but is sometimes difficult to adjust the heat for some meal cooking or , if you need to . It’s healthier though to cook with firewood and food taste better. The best part of the meal preparation is you lay down some cooked food in fresh banana leaves which is quite “organic “ itself!

Napakagandang video, captured talaga ang traditional na buhay ng ilocano. Sobrang ganda - sombrero, kawayan na pader, mga tray na gawa sa kawayan at bowl na gawa sa niyog, yung makahiya, bulaklak ng langka, yung lutuan na kahoy, at shempre mga fresh produce na okra, talong, ampalaya at shempre, hindi kumpleto pag walang bagoong dip at kanin 😋❤️
