That’s some quick burn out..3.5 years. You want to see some burnout, I’ve been a nurse for 32 years and am definitely burn out..! Yea, it’s a grind. I work 4-5 shifts a week and it’s tough. However, I make around $170-180k/year. I’ve also run a side business for 42 years and know that selling the product isn’t easy. I’d have to see$300-400k for it to be worth working 4-8 every day and your day never ending. I can at least clock out and go home.

To be honest, I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about the job r/t no work/life balance, working long hours, pay not matching the amount of work, etc. I know what it takes to run a business and you had better have an extreme passion for it but I actually OWNED the business. It’s 24/7 and I wasn’t working for free sometimes but I dealt with it because I loved the business. You may be autonomous with the rep job but you DONT own the business and you still work for someone.

I want to add to that a lot of these positions revolve around being young and attractive. I’m 53 and really good looking but still 53..lol. I ain’t going to be a young attractive red head no matter how hard I try and I’ve heard a ton of those stories over 30+ years. Sex sells, PERIOD!
