@@OsvaldoAvalos885he means that Tejano music is held near and dear to the hearts of Regiomontanos (Spanish demonym for the residents who live in Monterrey, Nuevo León). I know this, because I lived there for 3 years in the late 90s. Many of these Tejano bands from Texas, did a great many concerts in Monterrey. The people there love Tejano, and so do I, being that I am a Texan.

Nobody danced like that then, nobody dances like that now. It was cringe then, just like it kinda sucks now.
