Wet roads isn't always a bad thing. It can make a slow car fun and I have referred to it as tire saver weather. When I was a broke kid I loved a rainy day and the extra liquid hp taught me so much.
Growing up, that's how my dad always said you learn how to slide: start out doing it in rainy weather, then graduate up to dry, tire shredding slides. Of course, he still got mad at me when I slid my car around in the rain, hahaha. Dads

I'm a Mopar duster owner from 16 as well with the same 340-4 speed.8. 75 3.91r@p 50yrs old and new full roller and forged scatt stroker carb shopping holley.broke several alumA833 went corse splined 66rb close ratio and it literally will make a 360 turn at 60mph in one lane. To much power on new suspension and original rally wheels to appear stock in the black and white 340 striping. I live in Vermont and hate to sell it but we lost our house in the flood. I have it on FB market and Craig's and we get back every horrible troll in the world. Car is truly rust free and is basically a brand new ride with all the issues worked out. I want it to go to a good home and not just get it wrapped around a tree with a newer driver! Where is your favorite place to go to selling it out of your area where you are not aware that it was just totaled! But SIMPLY you would love this thing for the video content. Rolling in 3rd with good fuel and able to use all of the timing! Not just a little sqauk in 3rd/4th full on tire fryers and it can get some sketches going on with no trouble finding 8krpm.aluminum heads port matched and everything us northeast guy's are doing for the entire winter season But it just Work's when it is on the proper fuels!

I've assisted in a couple drivetrain rebuilds now for aged C6's. The torque tube has a couple components that can make a bid difference in the feel and durability. All were over the 150k miles mark with varying degrees of wear.

Nothing shows the size difference between two people like putting them in a corvette together. This thing has been a killer project and you fellas are smashing it with the channel.
When I was young we used to go to a bank parking lot on rainy nights and do donuts around the light poles like that. There were 6 in the lot and they were perfectly spaced. We would try to go around all of them in a pass. Way before drifting was a thing.
I can't wait for you guys to drift this on a track! Nothing's more fun than teaching friends how to do crazy things with cars. And props to the Eastwood guys for having you. That was really cool of them.

She really needs bigger wheels and the rear fenders cut to accept them or do an over fender kit. They're so easy to do on a c5 and it makes the car look so much better. Because the wheel wells have always been too small on the c5 and it's a shame because they're such a fantastic car. And what's shit about vette guys wearing new balances? That's my 666whp (yup) sn95 in profile picture. Im a DIE HARD mustang guy and I've been sporting NB since they started making skate shoes. They're fantastic. I mean I don't skate, I'm 6'5 265lbs i rip a 26" dirt jump bike when i don't have an engine under or in front me. They work awesome gripping my race face pedals!
My uncle raises horses for people on his Ranch. Some of them sell for up to $250,000. Also his Ranch is on the street that the chicken coup murders happened 😬
Shoehorning my Sparcos into my C5 (FRC/Z06) was a damn chore, I'll tell you. But, driving my C5 at the track with Sparcos was worth every damn penny and drop of blood!

Second thing: if the roll bar kit requires you to cut out the fiberglass panel in the trunk, and weld, why not just bolt straight through the frame with a backing plate? That is, why didn’t they make the rear support all the way down to the trunk floor? Is it inaccessible under there to tighten bolts?

Yeah we rebuilt this whole T tube with the first motor we blew up! (and did a billet coupler on one end)

The truck gets a lot of attention whenever I take it out, because people are not expecting to see a mid-engine C10 just out driving on the streets.
GM should have been made too recall that issue with the clutch breaking off. Better still should have never been passed in the first place.
Think it's more an indication of who ordered manuals, and then drove them hard.

Yes, I would prefer it to be sleeved, it is hollow but we are gonna just knock that off and weld in door bars.

Yep, that is what I posted. A 3/8 coupling nut welded on the pedal arm near the pedal pad area and a carriage bolt works fine.
For the clutch? definitely. I'll get it on there and raise the base position to be level with the brake.
