I think it glitched and made a normal slitherfang aggressive to Slaughterspine because you can see slitherfang's eyes Glowing Yellow then Red while Overridden Machines have blue eyes only

Over ridden machines has perks as per skills tho. I was expecting slaughter spine to slap due to massive health pool. In the dlc where you've slaughter spine and thunder jaw, whichever machine you overrides wins for a maxed out skill tree

That went on far longer than I thought it would and didn't turn out at all how I expected. I gotta take another look at the Slitherfang's stats - is it resistant to plasma? That's the only way I can see a Lvl 28 machine defeating tanking so many attacks from and managing to defeat a Lvl. 45 machine.
