I plan to wrap the top surface of painter's masking tape around the hex bit, and thus apply the adhesive surface to the bolts, and jam that into the recess in the head of the hex bolt, to get the bolts to stick to the hex bit, to avoid dropping the bolts. Thx a lot for the breakdown tutorial. I broke a T5 bolt when disabling my old mirror. A pain in the ass to fix. You are always at 1 bolt to turn a 15 min jon into a 2 hour and scrap your day
Just an idea instead of using a magent get some Teflon tape and wrap it around your t5 it may be more difficult to get it into the bolt but it will hold the bolt on I use that trick often
@@GEARMOAUTO you probably said it somewhere in the video ,but I didn't disconnect the battery before I disconnected the harnesses, and it showed a check engine light when I reconnected them. Had to disconnect then reconnect the battery, and it cleared.
