I have watched all your podcasts. I like them all. Don’t change. Don’t let anyone upset you. Because everyone can press the stop button when they want to. Merry Christmas and I want to see you next year.
Merry Christmas Lisa. I enjoy your podcast very much. You are a real person and that’s what I love and admire about your podcast. I feel like I’ve learnt a lot while watching, not that I didn’t know bits and pieces but your podcast is like talking to my best knitting friend. I can chat along and agree/disagree and give it a go if I like it. Not only that but you have good yarn and I’m a fan of your project bags and knitters hand cream. I hope you, your family have a relaxing (does your husband have a big Christmas lunch?) and peace filled holiday. 🎄🎄🎄
Hi Lisa, Thanks for sharing your knitting journey with us. I hadn't thought about the eye contact because it is a recording, but honestly I knit while listening to you and really appreciate that you put your projects on the mannequin and insert photos so that I can look up and admire. Happy holidays! Looking forward to your next podcast already!
Merry Christmas to you and all your family and friends. Love your podcasts and must, when stash less, shop with you. Hugs in yarn, and may the negative comments go away, and leave us all in peace. ❤
🍒🎄⭐️ G’day Lisa, I paused watching your episode to check out yarn packs 🍀🍀🍀 jumped back on to finish and need to sincerely thank you neighbour for the interesting, informative and always fun podcasts, it’s been a good year. 🎄🎁🍒🦌⭐️⭐️ Merry Christmas to you and yours, have well deserved break and I’ll be looking to see you in podcast #1 in 2025. ❣️🇦🇺
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Lisa. I’ve been watching your podcasts from the beginning and enjoy every one. You have introduced so many great patterns and yarns, I only wish I was in NZ. As others have said, ignore the nasty comments from people who have never heard ‘if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all’. Greetings from Greece.
Hi Lisa, you're one of my favorite podcasts to watch. I always get excited when yours pops up on my notifications. Don't listen to thise miserable people who try to make themselves feel better by bringing others down. They're not worth your time worrying about. Keep on being your lovely self ❤️ Have a great Christmas.
Hi Lisa. I've been here since the beginning and really appreciate the thought and work that must go into each podcast. I like the in-depth info on different patterns and you inspire me to knit out of my comfort zone. I bought lots of your yarn earlier this year when I was home. So far I've knitted a Ranunculus in Lupins in Summer and socks for my husband in Castle Hill. I gifted Be Bold to a knitting friend for Christmas. Have a lovely Christmas and summer holiday xx
Hi Lisa - I’ve been with you from your start. Don’t change a thing. I love your Podcast. I’m in Canada and you’re one of my favourite knitting podcasts. Merry Christmas and thank you for spreading a little kindness across the miles.
I am so cross hearing about such negative comments. There is nothing wrong with your podcast in fact it is very enjoyable, very natural and friendly. I am sure most of us relate to you so easily. I can imagine meeting you in real life and you would be just the same. I love hearing about your future plans, new patterns, the details of your actual knitting. I know that I always pick up tips. A lot of podcasters use their phone. Please ignore those negative comments - I know it is hard but just reflect on the positive members . I think we as a public are very lucky to have such wonderful podcasters - they are all so helpful .You have come a long way in 31/2 years - well done. I love the way you show your yarn, putting colours together.
Thanks Lisa for another great year of your always engaging podcasts. I am attracted to your pods due to your excellent and very coherent and informative presentations and your always very pleasant delivery. Wishing you and your family a delightful time over Xmas and New Year !
Happy Christmas Lisa to you and your family. I love your podcasts and have watched you from the beginning and look forward to them every time. Have a good break and see you in the New Year ❤🎉😊
Hi Lisa, I love your podcasts. Ignore the negative comments, as you say they can just find something else to watch. Having meet you in person I can honestly say that you are lovely and very encouraging of us knitters....who can be a wee bit obsessed! Have a great break and see you next year. Take care.
I was one of the test knitters for candle wick and I wear my a lot. It is dressy enough for a formal event with a dress but casual and comfy with jeans. I added length to mine as I don't like cropped.
Ignore the negativity, says more about them than anything you've done. Merry Christmas. I enjoy knitting and listening, and love the friendly girl next door approach to your podcasts. Just keep being you. I always feel inspired and enjoy your shop updates too
Happy Holidays to you and your whanau Lisa. So good to see you sticking to your needles - your Podcast is lovely and unique, entertaining and educational. Keep doing what you are doing and look forward to tuning in 2025. Meri Kirihimete
Happy holidays to you, Lisa! I stumbled upon your podcast a few months ago and I have been enjoying your episodes and all the learning and tips you share. Good for you for sticking to what works for you. I can’t imagine how challenging it must be to produce a podcast. Kudos to you! I will continue to watch from British. Columbia, 🇨🇦.
Have a wonderful festive season and a great summer break, don't worry about those who choose to be negative and make unhelp and hurtful comments. I really don't get the point of being that way. Like you say, they don't have to watch and listen. I recently found a new poem called Let Them and it's a great lesson in dealing with this kind of person.
Great episode Lisa! I don’t know who wants eye contact - I’m mostly listening whilst knitting and only look up when you’re showing something. Ignore them! Have a Merry Christmas and we’re all looking forward to Wairarapa Wool Weekend!
Thanks for explaining. It makes sense trying to hold up yarn and making sure the camera is focusing on you and the yarn. I would never say I couldnt watch you. Your yarn dyeing name - My Uncle lived at Sandy Bay in the South Island. Adding mohair to the socks will it make the finished material felt and hard to pass over the foot. Your V neck jumper. The yarn appears to have no drape or is it just how it is sitting on the mannequin? When knitting socks, I use two sets of ChiaGoo shortie circular needles. Makes it easier to knit small circumferences in the round.
Hi Lisa...its Lisette from NB Canada...remember meeting in the hotel at knity city TO? Love your podcasts and thank you for your flexibility in me collecting my yarn. Try heimat hafen. Germanic languages often put nouns together ( going back 45 years to learning German)
Hi Lisa. The sweater you are wearing looks more like the Love Note by Tin Can Knits. I have knit a few Ranunculus so i can recognise it easily. Ignore the Trolls who tune in expecting a Steven Speilberg production ! It really doesnt matter to your viewers who watch for your content. Have a great Christmas ! xxx
Great podcast as usual. Great making a gift box of possum/merino yarn and the super cute possum pompom!! These poms are superior quality compared to plastic faux fur poms!! Merry Christmas!!!
Silly you’re wearing the love note a very popular pattern as well as the ranunculus. It’s OK we all make those mistakes. They’re very similar patterns.❤
I find your podcast charming and love that you are so natural and conversational. The heck with Negative Nellies. As you so rightly said, watch something else if you’re not satisfied!
Oh for heaven’s sake those moaners have a choice to watch or not. I’m sure you’re of the same opinion as me - turn it off! I wouldn’t miss your podcasts. They are informative and enjoyable. Keep doing what you are doing, Lisa and merry Christmas. Jackie
If you don't enjoy watching a podcast just don't watch it. There is something lacking in these people who feel the need to be negative about something that hundreds of other people enjoy watching. Keep your chin up as your podcasts are great!
Dear Lisa, merry Christmas to you and your family. We look forward to seeing you in the new year.Love your podcasts, keep 'em coming.😃
