It was probably because the loss of money form the 3ds and Wii U era there next console will probably have a more creative interface

Same here. This one in particular brings up vague memories and nostalgia for me, probably because I got my Wii U Christmas 2015, which means this is the first theme I got to hear (besides the December 2015 music, which I only really got 6 days to listen to).

I love how they still play old eShop music on Wii U and 3DS. Makes me really happy whenever I want to look at the old games on the shops.
