Was in my hotel room and it had a French press with some new sealed coffee, I have never used one so I TH-camd the French press with no scales and followed your guide…not bad at all! I’m usually a flat white person but chasing the best option for coffee on the road. Thank you!
I just bought a French press for the first time today and I used 2 tablespoons and it was perfect not strong and best coffee I’ve ever ever had and it was Dunkin’ Donuts coffee so I will buy some good stuff soon
Well thanks from Las Vegas I always make some to share but thought I'd like to know how to make a single cup for a straggler 😊 Plus I got some Half Cafe for in the evening maybe. Think i need a full 8 minutes for that. But this is the first time I didn't feel the need to filter out the bits , cause it's a PRESS 💪 I did all the way lol. So now I can use French Press all the time because it shouldn't take the time I've been given it.😅👍😊
You are Canadian, from where? I guess I have been using my French Press incorrectly, according to your method. I also sometimes use a single cup, metal strainer with the tiny holes. It works OK, but allows too much sediment through. Maybe a coarse. grind? Thanks.
Can we get to the point? Watched it 3 times still don't know when to add the 1 cup of water and depress the plunger....anyone have a quick written recipe???
So delicious. Not bitter at all. Thank you! I don't need to go buy a scale. This is a good cup of coffee.

A coarse grind is usually the first advice we would give for a French press recipe. We are based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada:)
